Chapter 59: Fake Love

The worst feeling in the world is knowing that you have been used and lied by someone you trusted.

Ash was currently experiencing just that. Even though he was laughing, his sad eyes betrayed his hearty laugh.

When they were alone, Ira lightly said to Ash: "Ash did you even consider how the girl got our Family's heirloom necklace?... As for how she would have intimate photos with you, on your own bed? Why would Clara show at your doorstep just before your final exam?... How Admit card gets vanished just before the exams? Why had your public image got so bad?"

Ira knew her every word was like a blade stabbed in his heart. Yet She needed to hit the Iron when it is hot. There still existed still no evidence against Clara, who Ash loved dearly. What If she returns and explains her inaction in this matter? That she was kept in dark, not involved in the incident. Would Ash believe her?

She wanted to expose Clara's Fake love and Fake face, leaving her no road of return in Ash's life,

Ira wished to uproot Clara, who infiltrated Ash's life like a sinful flower.

Ash: "It wasn't her fault."

Witnessing Ira's horrid expression Ash continued: "It wasn't her fault. It was more of my fault for believing every word she said. Loving and guarding her. I understand now, Sis. What a Fool I was I!"

Their times together flashed in front of his eyes. It was hard to accept everything was Sham. Fake Love!

"She never loved me. I could tell when she was less enthusiastic about our relationship than me. Her eyes never showed affection like mine. She at times tried to avert my touch. I still persisted. I guess I was forever in love with a person that it was hard to let go. I was alone in all of my love fantasies."

"Yes, She appeared a month before exams at my doorstep. I was on high cloud those days together. She showed a never before felt care and intimacy. Actively touching and kissing me." He was embarrassed. These are the matters hard to be consulted to a sister yet Ira was the only one who understood his pain at present.

Letting go his reservedness he continued: "Whenever we were together at nights, we would be so drunk that I would suffer a blackout, forgetting the entire night. But one particular night I remember the feeling of touching someone else and hearing the voice of another person. It wasn't Clara. The next morning I woke up with 'Fear' of having done something wrong. I searched my brain for what I did, I was sure it was someone else. I was pondering whether I needed to apologise for my behaviour. But Clara told me it was her. With a huge stone fallen from my chest, I didn't dig deep."
