Tej Rai and Sia Rai were shocked. Ashay and Clara were dating? Why were they kept in dark? They loved Clara. Naturally would have supported their relationship. They were disappointed with Clara for the first time. The situation reached such a level but she was busy covering their relationship.
Didn't she trust Ashay? or did she already knew of her Brothers plan?
Lily was taken away by the police, Who followed them quietly with her head bowed. She accepted her fate. She was weak in consideration to these rich people. She even broke her last straw on impulse, Ryan"
Vani, who has been hiding in the crowd and watching things develop, now after Lily's departure, rushed in: "Uncle, Aunty, I am really sorry. This happened because of me. I thought I was helping a poor soul. I didn't know! " She cried. Fortunately, her name wasn't taken in the whole interaction.
Ira mocked "Vani, I am amazed. You are even a better actor. You didn't know? Let's ask them, the maid they were talking in the video was it you or there was someone else letting the girl enter the party."
"It is not me. Believe me, someone else is trying to use me as a scapegoat. I had no idea she is placed to defame Ash." Vani cried.
"You had no idea? What about the night before the accident?" Ira wasn't letting things go so easily.

Chapter 57: Karma is a Bitch!
"This..." Vani was surprised. 'How did she know?'
"I thought you were a smart person. Unfortunately, you weren't. Arrest her on charges of aiding a murder! Your fiance is waiting there for you" Ira said.
Ira showed them the same video she recorded of the night of accident just a couple hour earlier, that is 1:00 am. Entering the dark room on tiptoes, she slowly opened the closed window.
Vani sacred screamed "No! I just opened the window for some fresh air. I had no idea a person barged into the house from the open window. I have no relationship with him."
'Why is there a video clip? But she took notice to turn off all the main cameras in and around the room. Was there another she missed. no! Not possible. Perhaps there was a hidden camera'
Tej Rai and Sia Rai were shaken. Vani, who they considered as their child, was involved in the incidence when the car was wrecked.
"Air! Vani I wasn't born yesterday to understand why you would need fresh air at 1:00 am in the night. That too, from the second-floor room's window when your room is on the ground floor." Ira stated.
"I.." Before she could say another word Ira slammed her "How do even know a person barged in our house through the window? I didn't even show you the entire clip. Wanna see further? The legendary entry of your Fiance! He wasn't professional enough. One should know that just hiding your face with a mask isn't enough. Professional criminal wear gloves too especially when they have a tattoo on their hand. You say you have no relationship with the man. You are really selfish girl Vani. The tattoo below his right thumb is the proof of his dedication to you. "V" tattooed so conspicuously was the one that helped us finding and taking him down easily." Ira taunted her weak defence.
"I knew your intentions and kept an eye on you to catch the big fish behind you. Who knew you have planned another big conspiracy."
"Your fiance is charged with the crime of attempted murder getting 5 years to a maximum penalty of a lifetime in prison. While you are charged with a crime of not just abeiting an attempted murder, more of instructing the attempted murder. You won't get fewer Years than him. Don't worry! I will see to it that both get the maximum penalty. Probably a lifetime behind the bars!"
When Police came forward to handcuff her, she shouted " No, All was their plan! My fiance, Raj took money from Ryan. We both are orphans. We needed some for our marriage. I was just instructed to open the window. I have no notion of their plan. I came to know of it much later after the accident.
Tej Uncle, Why would I want to kill you? I can't even think of it! You are like my only family left in this world. After the incident, I kept no contact with Raj. I left him."
"Vani if you needed money for your marriage. I would have given you myself. I also would have arranged your marriage as my daughter. I kept some money aside for your future as a scholarship, Didn't you wanted to be a doctor?"
She regretted. She was such an Idiot. There were people willing to provide her money yet she wanted to steal from them.
Turning 18 already an adult in eyes of law. Can't even escape prison now. Only if she was a couple months younger she would only need to stay at detention or Juvenile centre. But Karma is a Bitch!
