"Okay," An Lan nodded. She gave him a hug before leaving.

She arrived at the bar where she would be meeting Li Shuang. She was already there, ordered quite a lot of wine, and was drinking one of the bottles alone.

"Where's your son?"

"He's at my mother's place," Li Shuang replied with a dazed expression. She looked even more haggard when she was under the light.

An Lan understood her feelings. No matter how strong a person was and how hard she tried to sound relaxed, she wouldn't feel good after being betrayed.
