Chapter 476: Ceremony Part 1

"Sand... Can that really.... be sand?" Ariana murmured. "What do we need to do?" She continued as she shook her head clear. "We need to go to the alter and trigger the sand." King Joey instructed. "Trigger? Can sand... No. What is that sand made of?" Ariana asked.

"It's best to not know." King Joey replied. "Will you tell me after?" Ariana asked. "If there is a later..." King Joey replied as his face paled further. "I'll hold you to it." Ariana said with firm voice. There was no way she was going to let him not answer the question. King Joey nodded his head.

As they approached the alter, King Joey's body started to breakdown even further. Ariana started to worry but she didn't stop walking. She knew that they had practically no time left, panic fueled her strength and she carried him towards the alter. Each footstep seemed heavier then the last but her thoughts kept her moving.
