Soon the potion was taking affect and Ariana could feel her wrist flare up in pain. She did her best to muffle her scream but a sound still escaped her lips. "Oh sweetheart! Thank you for volunteering!" She shouted as Edlyn's jaw dropped from Mrs. Dabney's shameful act. "I knew I could count of my daughter's future godmother!" She quickly grabbed a small medical bag and passed it to Edlyn. "Be a dear and help carry this for your friend. See there is a patient held in detention and I don't want him to wait too long. By the time you make it there your wrist should be completely healed.
