Chapter 4: Twilight Manor
Loki leads the way for us back to the home I am now gonna be a part of. My excitement was seen clearly my face was basically glowing from happiness. How Loki got into the picture, don't ask me seems like she had something to talk about with the guild and was around. She was rather surprised when she heard I would join her familia on the suggestion of the entire elite party especially when Bete's name fell. She opened up to me rather fast she talked about how amazing my status had to be, to get the entire core of her familia to push her into taking me in. When we finally reached a quiet room within the twilight manor for the imitation ceremony, Loki's disposition immediately shifted and a sly grin appeared on her face.
„So Cedric Tell me how did you plan to hide your plans from me you should know I am a goddess of trickery?" I looked at her and was dumbstruck other than using her name and influence to grow, here wasn't really any other plan in my mind. Maybe she thinks I am after her familia or information. „Loki I think you got me wrong I am only after your name and influence, it allows me to grow faster. I am also after the girls logically who wouldn't try to get beautiful girls or even a harem." Loki just started chuckling and I seems like she enjoys herself quite a bit.
„Cedric Sommerscave that's your name right it seems I judged you correct your an innocent kid that wants to enjoy strength and glory to it's fullest." I asked her if that was a problem but she just looked at me and said „Only if it gives me problems otherwise her is no issue now turn your back to me I am gonna do the initiation rite." I looked at her dumbfounded and asked: „May the others leave I can tell him of what I am capable of myself or do you want him to know my secrets?"
„Very well I make them leave.
You heard him I am gonna tell you an acceptable amount of information later." After Loki said so the others left. Ais and Tiona looked at me for a short while. Otherwise nothing much happened besides Lefiya and Riveria still having an interesting glint in their eyes because of my magic. „So boy why did you want them to leave they watched you the entire time so there has to be another secret besides your skills I am I right." „You know soon just don't be too surprised okay Loki?" Loki showed a bit of genuine intrigue on her face, then she just pointed to the couch with her eyes clearly indicating for me to get ready. I got on the couch shirtless and let Loki mark me with her familia mark the clowns head with one eye closed after she saw my status she was completely blown away her mind seemed to have wandered off somewhere.

active: Allows the user to create a domain. Within this domain the user has a grasp of everything that happens, also makes him stand above anyone who is weaker. other skills and magic can be infused having various effects.
Loki was so shocked only reading this, that she told me she would only list my skills and never explain him to me. Because of fear, I would spill something when I am drunk.

If I wouldn't know better I would say my divinity made a mistake but that is impossible so tell me what's that with your race boy?" Loki told and asked in a very undecided way. Seemingly confused which is really surprising known what divinities she has. In the end, after much thinking, I told her truthfully.
„I don't know everything myself only that. I am 1/4 Original Human, 1/4 Original Devil, and 1/2 Original God. But what these Races I am part of are? I seriously don't know. I only know I am older than I myself know or what my status indicates. So I would like it If you can go around and ask any of the primordial deities. if they know something. The one making us the least troubles, in this case, is most likely Uranus so why not ask him Loki?"
„You have a point boy I will bring it up in the next dehnatus that's tomorrow anyway also let's file your stuff and bring it to the guild. Want to warn that old geezer somethings up. You come along that's an order from your goddess." she seemed very pleased considering it may be her divinity acting up I simply answered „Yes yes let's go Goddess Loki!"
Meanwhile somewhere in the dungeon.
„Damn Brat who does he think he is, telling me something about opening up and accepting the kindness of others. Does he even know what that is!!!!!" Bete was throwing a tantrum while beating hundreds upon hundreds of monsters. on the way down, he came upon a small group that was almost done for. He couldn't take the sight and killed the monsters not even showing his face. He heard them screaming thank you at the top of they're lungs.
He remembered how he always thought a hero would come and save him. Suddenly that boy came to mind but this time Bete didn't get angry he started crying and telling himself „So finally the hero I always waited for came to save me. I even realized that if I had to give the fault about that time to anyone or anything it would have to be these damn monsters." at this point something about Bete changed. He will not know this for a while but he awakened a long-dormant skill. Something even or protagonist will be surprised about. Argonaut someone that wants to be a hero.
At the same time somewhere in the Twilight Manor.
„Hey Ais what do you think isn't he nice?" Ais was staring holes into the air, while her friend Tiona was on talking and talking about the new guy in they're familia. how he did these monsters in and was nice enough to just ignore their rather rude questioning. „Yes nice." Ais just gave a short reply like usual but this time she seemed more distant to her friend. „Come on we asked the guild to get us in touch.
We were trying to get in his privacy right and he just let it slide!" Tiona began laughing, her very bubbly Happy laughter brought a small smile on to ais mostly emotionless face. That brought her a ton of pestering from her friends Tiona and Tione. At the end of the twins pestering, she only saw Loki and the boy pass through the gates, going somewhere while taking Riveria and Gareth along. Unsurprising Tiona immediately suggested going after them.
Ais still pouting over the earlier pestering, just walked out the gates after the small group without really thinking about anything. Later realizing she would get pestered be tiona but strangely she didn't think it would be uncomfortable. Tiona and tione normally tag along tiona only though it would be fun. Whilst tione though things would be getting interesting from there on out. To their surprise even Lefiya seemed to have some interest, considering she caught up later with a big blush. she just silently followed the group tracking Loki and the others.
