Chapter 4: Power is everywhere, you just have look for it
As I was contemplating on what I am going to do the door open in my room.
*Bang*
As I look to the door I see a blue blur advancing towards me.
"Ling Jian! Your awake! Thank God! *SOB* the man in the blue robe said as tears are falling off from his eyes, which is a little unsightly because of his serious face.
" Father, let me go. I can't breath. *tap**push* I said as I tap at his shoulders pushing myself from him.
"No! I will not let go! If not you might leave me." my father said holding me tighter, really determined not to let me go.
"Father you should let go of little brother he might leave us permanently because of what your doing." *pull* my brother said while pulling my father from me.
"Oh. Your right. Hahaha. I just got a little carried away there. Haha." said while laughing. Sigh my father get carried away sometimes. I still remember my father almost destroy a clan because he overheard them badmouthing me. As I remember this, my heart was filled with warmness of his love.
" Are you alright now, Ling Jian? Are you hurt? Just tell your father if your not feeling well, I your father, Ling Fu, will call the best doctor for you my son." my father said in serious voice. I smiled.
"Don't worry father, iam alright. Although iam a bit weak right but there's nothing to worry about, I will regain my strength in few days or so." I said. Then I smile I can clearly see the worry in my father's eyes.
"That is good. Hahaha." my father said. As I see my father laughing I saw my big brother in back smiling at me while folding his hand over the other.
"Brother! Your back! How is your exploration? Did you get something new from your exploration? Can I see it? Please?" I said. A man with long black hair, face that charm women, just like my father but have a calm aura and gentle looks rather a fierce aura and serious face like my father. Apparently the original owner of this body want to explore the world just like his brother.
"Me and my team explore an ancient ruin in the south and we get some items, artifacts and some documents. We still don't know there origin but I think it is from the era of the dark ages. And you can see it if you get better, so get well soon. Alright?" my brother stated. Iam so excited to know what my brother brought back from his exploration.
" Hmm. Alright. "I said.
" Okay enough with that. Ling Jian I want to ask you something. What do you remember before you fainted in the garden? Do you remember something? "my mother ask in a stern voice.
" I.... *holding my temple as my headache is back again but just little * don't remember a thing. I was just walking in the garden then out of nowhere my sight grew dark then, I don't know what happen after that. "I said rubbing my temple to ease the pain in my head. And then I look to my mother, I can see that anxiousness appeared in her beautiful visage because of what she is seeing.
" Ling Jian! Are you alright? Ling Tian call the doctor. Son tell me are you hurt somewhere?" my mother said.
"Mother I am alright. Don't worry, this is just a little headache." I said to mother.
"Ling Tian! What are you doing?! Call the doctor. Now!"my mother said clearly ignoring my remarks. *Hayss* I sigh.
" Mother don't worry I am alright. *I tried to stand up*" See?" *Baam* but before I can stand straight my legs they give up on me. *Sigh*. I hate this.
" Ling Jian. What are you doing? You need to rest. Don't strain yourself. *my mother turn her head to my brother and said* What are you still standing there call the doctor now!!! "my mother in an angry voice. Brother why are you still standing there? Just go and call that doctor or you want a beating from mother.
" Yes! "my brother said while running through the door then straight to the corridor while shouting "Doctor".
"Don't worry son you will alright in bit" my mother said in a gentle voice.
After 5 minutes the doctor arrive and give me a full body check up, the wierdist thing is I feel some kind of energy entering in my body. I guess this is Profound Qi. *Sigh*. Someday I will be able to use that too. And in the future I will be powerful. Powerful enough that when someone hears my name they will cower in fear, I will create a legend that will make a mark in the history of this world. And before I do that I will have to cultivate which is almost impossible right now. *sigh* What a bad luck.
"Doctor Qin is there a problem with my son?" my mother ask doctor Qin.
"From what I see there is no problem with his body and mind." Said doctor Qin.
"That is great!" both my father and mother said in delight.
"But..." added doctor Qin.
"But what doctor? Does my only have a day to live? A week? A year? Tell me Doctor what is it?!!" my father said. A little paranoid if I say so myself but I too was curious.
{Will I really going to die? Again? } I thought in fear. I just got reborn and then I will die again. What the heck! Where is the justice!
" Nonono. He won't die yet. Unless someone kill him or died of old age. What iam saying he still have a long life."continued of Doctor Qin.
" Then what it is Doctor Qin that you want to tell us??"my mother said. Worried.
"When I run my Profound Qi in his body to analyse him if he is danger, which is not, I discover that his meridian is blocked. He is not crippled, its just that something is blocking his meridians, this is not life threatening but he will not progress much in his cultivation. "Doctor Qin explained. He is a little sad for the couple right now. To know there son can't cultivate in the way of immortality they must be shock to the core and worried for the boy, Ling Jian, for sure that this will take a toll in the mentality of boy. Knowing that you can't cultivate in this is just like you are curse.
*sigh*
{What a poor kid. I hope this won't make him go mad and take the wrong path.} doctor Qin thought.
Both Ling Fu and Tian Fei are shock and can't seem to process this news clearly as they are thinking on what going to say to their son, they see there son look shock and disappointed for a couple of seconds before a smile appear on his face. A smile that project sadness, self-pity and disappointment. As they see there son in these state the couple help but cry a silent tears.
As Doctor Qin saw this, he new that he have to give them some alone time so he live the room silently. Hoping the best for the boy.
"Ling Jian. Don't worry son, iam sure there is a way to cure you son. I will look for the best alchemist to concoct you a pill that will cure." my father said in trembling voice.
"Don't worry my son even if you can't cultivate we still love you and we won't abandon you just because you can't cultivate." my mother said as she trying to keep her tears falling from her eyes.
"Mother, Father can you leave me alone for now. I just want some quiet time for now." I said as my head staring down a little daze even if I know I can't cultivate it still hurt when you hear it, especially when you see the look of your parents. I know they hide it well but I clearly saw the disappointed look of my father. As I remember that I can't but cry.
My parent look at each and nod.
"Okay son. If need something just call us okay?" my mother said. Trying not to cry.
And they started to walk through the door and slowly open it. As they are way through the door they look back and saw there crying as tears falling from his beautiful but empty eyes. They can't themselves from crying as well and as if there is being pierce by blade swing there beloved son like this.

Back to Ling Jian. After he collected himself. He ask Jarvis.
"Jarvis." Ling Jian.
"Yes master" answered Jarvis.
"The doctor said I can't cultivate, is that true?"I ask Jarvis in an empty voice, void of emotion like a robot.
" Correction master. You can cultivate but you are limited to a certain realm." Jarvis said.
Hope appeared In my self.
" Is what you said true?! "I ask. I was filled with right now. If can cultivate then I can help myself find a way to cure myself.
" It is true master."Jarvis said.
" Then, what is my limit realm? Is it high or low? "I immediately ask.
" Base on what I gathered....
I can't determine what realm you will be stuck but it is certainly the first realm. As I don't have any information on the cultivation realm on this world I can't determine what realm it is."Jarvis explained.
" Oh, is that so."iam a little sad as I know the first is weakest realm.
" But there are many ways to obtain power in this world, you just have to look for it. Am I right Jarvis."i said to Jarvis.
" You are right master. Since you will look for power I suggest you look for more information it will be very helpful to you master."Jarvis said.
Now I know what iam going to do now. First I will look for a library obtain knowledge, since knowledge is power, I will obtain that first. Then understand this world more. Now that I remember iam currently in the body of a ten year boy.
As far as I can see in his memory he is, I mean I was quite a genius myself. Four months old I can crawl, six months old I can walk and 1 years old I can speak but not fluent but understandable enough.
It seems to have a strong body and a bloodline, but why is it that I can't cultivate pass the first realm? Maybe because of my bloodline? The doctor said I am not a cripple so it must my bloodline or I have a unique constitution or something. Anyway, let's put that questions in my mind, for now I should rest. I need to get my body to have strength for the things I will do. So for now let us rest.
"Good night Jarvis." I said to Jarvis as I fall asleep.
"Good night master." Jarvis reply.
