Chapter 7: Caught red handed
I went to my room and started getting ready for bed when someone knocked on my door. "May I come in?" I heard mum call out so I went and opened the door acting all innocent. "What's up mum?" I asked her.
"I know what happened this evening while we weren't home."
"What do you mean?" I asked acting confused
"I know you and Robert had sex."
"Why do you say that?"
"I was young once too, I noticed you both had wet hair as we pulled up then I smelled that both of you used the same body wash. Do you think I don't know that you are sexually active your pregnant for crying out loud."
"I only had sex once." I lied but I couldn't help but turn red because she had caught us red handed.
"Don't lie to me Sophie."
"Ok so we had sex so what it's not like I can get pregnant because I already am." I told her angry that she caught me and was having a go at me because she was 16 when Jodie was born so what was her problem.
"Honey I'm not angry that you had sex I just don't want you to lie to me." She smiled "So I caught you in a lie so Robert can't come here when you're here alone ok."
I couldn't believe her she isn't completely flipping out like she did when we found out I was pregnant. "Ok mum." Was all I could say. I still couldn't tell her I'm going to have the abortion so I was a bit sad and told her I was tired. She smiled I think she thought it was because Rob and I had sex but in truth I was mentally tired keeping this secret.
The next day Rob came over to see me, mum cornered us and told us if we have sex again that Robert was not going to be allowed to come to the house at all. But in the next breath she told us to use protection if we were going to have sex. "I won't be having sex again with Sophie until we are both ready to have kid's." Rob told mum, I stood there in shock I wanted sex with Rob and only him from now on so to hear I will have to wait drove me out of my mind. I thought it would be hard but for the next 3 days it was easy so maybe we could make it work just knowing how much we love each other.
