Chapter 5: What to do while we wait
Rob and I took the last bus back to New Huntsville, by the time we got back it was getting dark. He called his foster parents from a payphone to let them know that he was just going to walk me home before he went home himself.
I was touched that this guy beside me always thought the best of me. On the way home we got to the shortcut through the bush that lead to my place, I hadn't been here since that fateful night.
Rob was looking at me with concern so I decided that I needed to face this place head on and move on from that night.
"Let's go this way" I said to him but he just froze, I had already told him what happened and where so I guess he was wondering why I wanted to go near that place again. I smiled "I need to face this place so I can move on" I told him, Rob held out his hand and said "I'm here for you every step of the way, if it gets too much we can turn back"
My heart constricted boy I love him, he always knows how to make me feel better.
Walking through the bush I started to slow down as we got closer to where it all happened, Rob squeezed my hand as if to say it's ok. I stopped at the spot and turned to Rob kissing him for the first time squarely on his lips, at first he was shocked but I kept kissing him and he reciprocated my kisses.
It was as if we were overwriting what happened but he never took it too far simply saying "We will change your memories of this place but not tonight" I was a bit disappointed but so happy at the same time. He walked me the rest of the way home but when I invited him in he said "You... don't forget I'm a guy I was able to resist just before but you underestimate my control, I'm so horny that I don't think I could resist your beautiful body tonight so I better leave."
