The sound of laughter filled the air as some children fought each other on an elevated stage surrounded by lanterns. Some people cheered for their children while others placed silly bets on the one who would win the final prize.
The fight was not a serious one.
The goal of the fight was for the kids to knock each other off the stage, and the last one standing would win a prize from Grandpa Shio. However, it could not be considered completely silly because these kids could fight better than ordinary people.
"I wish I could join them," Misaki said with envy.
Emi looked at her and laughed. "Then, you would ruin your beautiful yukata."
"I am serious," Misaki whined.
Emi laughed and patted her head, careful not to damage the traditionally coiffed but still dyed hair. After all, Misaki was quite excited to try out the look.
My lovely angels,
We have come to the end of this series.
Over these years, this book has been a constant companion, even when I thought I would abandon it.
I have struggled, but I am thankful to everyone who read it.
As I press 'Completed', I take on a different journey with the Demon King, Yuan Haoran, in a transmigration cultivation novel [The Demon King is Reincarnated with a Hero System].
Make sure to read the side story that revisits the beautiful love story between Hu Lei and Zhong Feng one last time.
I love you all.
xoxo
