Chapter 724: COMING TO AN AGREEMENT

When Emi regained consciousness, she found herself handcuffed to a steel bar in an industrial cool room. She shivered slightly from the chill as she took in her surroundings. The room had long benches with strange lab equipment. 

Was she in a meth lab? 

She shook her head to clear the fogginess. It looked like she had become weak since she gave up her martial practice. If she had been more diligent, it would have taken more tranquillizer to take her out, and she would have woken up faster. 

It looked like she might need to start practising again if she continued to be involved with Yagi. 

The thought should have scared her. 

If she was being rational, she would have been more scared given the situation she was in. Rationally, she should have been considering leaving Yagi because it was obvious that she was dragged into the mess by his complicated life. 

However, the thought did not cross her mind.
