Fate is cruel. Destiny is crueller. Responsibility is the devil. Disappointment is a sin. Jealousy is a crime. Hatred is the fuel. Love is poison.
Yet all these things sum up the life in the Inner Palace. Whether you are the Empress or the consorts or the concubines, the struggles within the palace is evident. As the future Emperor's women you have no choice but to submit yourself.
Sisters by blood. Hatred, envy and jealousy fill one's mind. In every darkness there's a bit of light and in every light there's a bit of darkness.
In life the hardest thing you can do is leave something behind that you desperately desire. However, if they are truly happy then you have no choice but to let them go.
