Chapter 33: It was me!
Raion looks at Baskia and Veter with a confused look upon his face. He then studies the expressions in each of their faces. The confusion he has on his face suddenly changes to a concerned look. Veter and Baskia are both giving off a different appearance than it had moments ago. Before they were all laughing and happy, happy that the worse was finally over.
Raion "What... why are you guys looking at me with that... that concerned look?"
Veter "Raion I believe it's best that you sit down for this one."
Raion "Veter youre starting to scare me. What happened here?"
Baskia "Please just let us explain everything to you Raion. You' just have to calm down, you're over exerting yourself."
Raion looks down at his hands, he can see them trembling. Is it because of what he had just endured moments ago? Is his body still trying to fix itself? Or is it the nerves and confusion he's feeling from the current situation at hand. He then grasps hold of his hands tightly to stop them from shaking, and looks back up at Veter and Baskia. "It's okay, I'm fine. Now could you please tell me what went on here?"
Veter "Raion, I'll tell you every thing that you want to know and what exactly happened here. But..."
Raion "But what?"
Veter "You're going to need to listen to me, every thing I say. I don't want you to say a single word til I'm fully finished talking..."
Raion "I can manage to do that."
Veter "I wasn't finished talking there."
Raion "Ahh Im sorry."
Veter "As I was saying, the most important thing o need you to do for me. Is to stay completely calm."
Raion just stands there patiently waiting for Veter's words.
Veter "You can speak now I'm finished."
Raion "That sounds simple enough. Im ready to know what happened here."
Baskia "Could I be the one to tell him how I've become trapped like this?"
Veter "If that's what you wish, so be it."
Baskia "But first we have to figure out how much Raion has remembered and where everything has gone blank for him."
Veter "Yes you're right. Raion could you tell is up until what point you remember."
Raion "I can do that. It's still a bit dazey to me, but I vaguely remember us entering the room and Koron chanting some spell in the distance. After that, everything is a blur to me."
Baskia and Veter both stare at one another with a dumbfounded look upon their faces.
Veter "Is been that long?"
Baskia "Raion are you certain that you don't recall any other bits of information after that incident?"
Raion "No, nothing at all. That's as far back as I can remember."
Veter "We sure have a lot of explaining to do. "
All of a sudden Baskia begins to feel Koron magic spell losening up. His leg is able to move ever so slightly.
Baskia "Guy's?!"
Veter "What is is Baskia?"
Baskia "My keg, I can move my leg ever so slightly."
Veter "You can?! Are you sure you're not imagining it because you want free so badly?"
Baskia "No Veter I can move it."
Veter "This isn't good at all. If you can move your leg without any of us using our magic on that."
Raion "Wait, tell me why isn't this a good thing don't we want Baskia free?"
Veter "Yes we do of course but not like this. For your sake and especially for Fourth sake, this is not the way we want it to happen."
Raion "Why? What does Fourth have to do with Baskia being trapped."
Baskia "It has everything to do with him. You see Raion the reason I can move my leg and why we are all concerned about this, is because Koron is dying."
Raion "This can't be!"
Veter "And you know well enough what is going to happen if Koron dies."
Raion "He... he won't be able to take us to the Wistle rub. Which means we won't get it back to Shirt in time for her to help us."
Baskia "That's correct.."
Veter "We need to address the situation now. Baskia, I'm going to free your leg using my magic Raion I'm going to need you to go over to Koron and stop his bleeding. He's already lost a lot of blood we can't afford anymore. Baskia when I free you, you're going to use your ability to mend as much of Korons wounds as you can."
Raion rushes over to Koron who's lifeless looking body is slouched up against the wall. "What happened to you? Who would do such a horrific thing? What's this here?" Raion notices the sword sticking out if Koron's body. "Where did this come from?" He then kneels in forward and reaches out to touch the sword. His finger tips barely making contact with the sword, when flashes of what had previously happened to him go rushing through his mind. Everything that's he had forgotten comes flooding in all at once. "It was me. It was me!"
Baskia and Veter here Raion's screams, they both quickly turn to look at Raion. Raion slowly turns around and with tears in his eyes yells "I'm the one who did all of this! It was me!"
