Their lives have been intertwined from a young age. Together, they must work to save the empire of Aribel from certain ruin. Paragon, the empress, is irreversibly wounded, and no champion remains to stand against the Villain above Villains, Lord Ender.
Ender is not alone in his desire to instate a new rule. He has several powerful allies.
Forge, with a body made of iron and fire. Fade, who can change his face as easily as his shoes, known as a scorpion who fights with poison. Ripper, who can multiply the muscle in selected parts of his body at will, a monster without remorse. Finally, Red Mist, closest to Ender, whose Power and appearance is unknown.
Only Kiren and Lace realize the threat they pose.
But will their efforts be enough?
