Chapter 68: Course Decision's

Looking at the now serious headmaster they then began to think about the different courses that they could apply for. Of course, Huo didn't have to think about the classes since she was only here using the status of 'servant'.

Tian Long was the first one to reply since he wanted to attend the least courses due to his inheritance.

"I would like to take part in all classes that involve the uses of your hand-to-hand combat. I would also like to take part in the classes that talk about the fire and light element. I would also like to take part in the blacksmith class.".

Surprised by the lack of 'scholar' classes he asked Tian Long if that was all and confirmed his selection.

Sarah then confirmed her classes.

"I would like to take part in classes that involve the use of swords. I would also like to take part in classes that talk about the water, ice, snow, frost and light element. I would like to take part in a class that pertains to arrays."

The headmaster then asks once again if she is sure about her choices since she was going to busy taking so many classes about different elements. Although ice and snow could be considered aspects of the water element they are vastly different in the later stages of comprehension, of course, you can still take snippets of comprehension from water about the 'aspects' which can make the 'aspect' you are comprehending stronger.

Confirming their course choices he tells them to show up to wait a couple days for their timetable to be sent to them that will tell them when their different classes are. Just as they were about to leave they were stopped by the headmaster' voice.

"Oh yes, tell that other boy from your group to drop by when he decides on his courses since he will need to choose courses at some point before he is automatically expelled. He only has until the end of the month before this happens so please let him know about it.".

Puzzled, the headmaster noticed that as soon as he brought up the boy that the group became a little tense.

Turning around, Sarah faced the headmaster and began to speak.

"You no longer need to worry about his choices since he has left the academy." Sarah said in ablunt way.

'What!! Since when?' Although the headmaster was shocked from that but he didn't show it outwardly, he only showed that he pitied that the academy had lost a greta student.

"Can you at least give me the reason that he would leave the academy?" The headmaster asked since he was curious why she would let her servant leave.

"When they were in the forbidden zone, Tian Long and Jian had to seperate since Jian couldn't handle the cold and just when he had exited the forest Jian let his guard down and was ambushed by a snow leopard and lost his left arm. Luckily it wasn't his right arm, otherwise he would not be alive to tell the tale since he would have also lost his only way to fight back, his sword." Sarah explained since she thought that the headmaster deserved an explanation to why a student who had only joined two weeks ago suddenly left.

Listening to the explanation the headmaster's face took on the expression of pity and regret however as she got to the part where the snow leopard left the bounds of the forbidden zone he immediately became serious and began to release a suffocating pressure which made it hard for them to breathe.

Reining in his pressure he then asked again to make sure, "Are you definitely sure that the snow leopard left the bounds of the forest and entered the no man's land?".

Nodding, Sarah noticed that the headmaster had taken on a grim visage and was now tapping on the table ruminating on the information that was given.

"Girl, do you know what level the snow leopard was?" The headmaster asked to get a clear idea of the snenario which he had hoped would never happen.

Replying, Sarah told the headmaster that it was only Rank 1 and that it's level should have been about level 3 or 4 however she couldn't be sure.

Hearing this the headmaster let out a sigh of relief however he still took on a serious visage and thanked them and told them that they had let loose very important information that could possibly save this continent. Confused, Sarah was going to ask more but she was immediately told that she needed to be at least Rank 3 before she could be trusted with the information that the higher ups of the continent held. He went on to explain that those below Rank 3 would only be told about the information when it was already too late.

Hearts in slight turmoil since the issue seemed to be serious however they were quickly ushered away by the headmaster and had no choice but to speculate about what was happening. Tian Long and Sarah had a slight inclination of what was going on since they had their ancestral memories however Huo was confused and at a loss thinking back to the headmaster's serious visage.

Just as they had left the headmaster took on a grim and serious expression and immediately used a communication tool to let the other headmasters and sect leaders know of the situation.

"Some students have just come back from the Northern forbidden zone and they have said that one of the beasts stepped out of the boundary of the forbidden zone into the no-man's land. If this information is true, you all know what this means. Time is running out.".
