Chapter 13: AFTER THE BAD NEWS

Jason Sun Reinist's POV:

We stayed in that position for awhile, until I saw fall asleep in my arms, tired from crying so much.

"Uncle, I'll just get her home now." I told him, and he just nodded. I went to the shortcut elevator he had connecting to the parking lot on the basement of the building with Rose in my arms.

When I got to the basement, I went to my car and gently put Rose on the front seat and lowered the back of the seat to make her feel more comfortable.

And I went to the back seat to put down our things. And i went to the driver's seat and started the car, and went home.

*AT GAERSON'S VILLA*

When we got home I called the helpers of the estate to help me on our things while I carry Rose in my arms bridals style.

Even if we don't have maids here, we still have helpers here that help us on things. They are already provided once you buy a villa here at Kingsville Estates.

When they put our stuff inside, I gave them my thanks, and they left. I carried Rose to our bed room, changed her clothes into pajamas, and covered her with our blanket.

I then changed my clothes into pajamas as well and went to the kitchen to cook dinner for the two of us.

I just decided to make her favorite Korean dish. Japchae[1].

I heaved a deep sigh. I hope Rose will be alright. I know this is a really big blow for her. She and her mom--Auntie--are really close.

I'm really worried about our safety. Specially her's, they're starting to move. We should always put our guard up and be more cautious.

After I finished making dinner, I arranged the table and got out some plates and utensils, and arranged them on the table.

When I finished doing those, I went back to the kitchen to get the Japchae and Kimchi Fried Rice[2] that I also made a while ago.

When I was done on arranging everything on the table, I went upstairs to our bedroom and went to sit on the side of the bed.

I wanted to wake her up, but seeing her peacefully asleep, I was thinking of just waking her up later on. But then I thought again. 'She needs to eat, I can't let her just eat nothing. I don't want her health to be affected by the bad news as well.'

So I went closer to her and cupped her cheeks, before saying:

"Love. Wake up, It's time to eat..." I said softly, trying not to startle her. I saw her slowly opening her icy blue eyes, and I helped her get up from the bed by putting my hand on her waist and gently pulling her on the side of the bed, she put on her slippers and slowly stood up with the help of my hand.

"Thank you..." She said with her raspy voice. I knew that her voice was like that just because she just woke up, it's also because she cried so much a while ago.

"You know you don't have to thank me, my love..." I said softly while cupping her cheeks and giving her a peck on the lips. She slightly smiled, and that smile made me think...

...I have to cheer her up...

"Let's go?" I asked and she nodded. I held her hand and gently guided her down stairs to the dining room, as if she's a treasure that can easily be broken.

When she saw the dishes on the table her face lit up, but only a little bit...

"Come on love. Let's eat, I know you missed these." I said to brighten her up a bit more. She just nodded and I helped her sit down before taking a seat beside her.

"Thank you for the food!" We both said. After that, we dug in the food. While eating I was cracking up jokes and she was smiling and laughing more. I can feel that she's cheering up a bit, and that made me smile.

"What are you smiling about?" She asked me while raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing. I just love seeing you smile." I answered, still smiling.

"Haha. Stop being cheesy, you!" She said, still laughing. Her laughter is music to my ears, I'll never get tired of hearing it, EVER!

"Okay. I'll stop. But it's true though." I said.

"Sure it is. Let's just eat." She said and I just nodded and we just ate. We took turns on feeding each other, and she seems to really like the food. I'm glad.

When we were finished with dinner, she helped me with the dishes and we went back upstairs to the bedroom. We took turns on the bathroom and then we both went to bed.

I held her in my arms wile we were on the bed.

"Love..." She softly said while we were looking at the ceiling.

"Yes my love?" I asked.

"Thank you..."

Recognition day is tomorrow, so maybe tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday, I might be able to update more. But on the whole summer I might not be able to update at all because I'll be at our hometown, which is a province. And there's no WiFi there unless I borrow my dad's phone. But my parents won't be staying on the province too because of work.

So...that's gonna happen.

But when school starts, I promise a mass release. A very big one!

Because I may not be able to publish the chapters, I can still type them and just publish them when there's WiFi.

The same will be for my other story. The time I will be posting all of the chapters will either be June or July, or maybe even on May.

Please be patient and continue to support the story. I LOVE YOU GUYSSSSS!!

But no need to be sad. I might update tomorrow or within the end of the week. We never know.
