 "Halt! What are you people doing!" An officer wearing a relatively better uniform berated as he walked forward and used a language that Wei Xiao Bei had never heard before.

 After entering the city, all the monks immediately spread out and held a bowl as they each chose their own road to beg for some food. 

 Even Shakyamuni was doing the same.
