Chapter 9: The Brewery atop of Fallen Fairy Peak
(In the previous chapter)
The sabre tooth tiger filled with rage after losing track of Finn swore in rage that it would find Finn and kill him. Unknown to Finn, his path and the sabre tooth would cross again in the future, but for now, Finn was on his way to collect the last herb, and finally reach fallen fairy peak.
(Start of new chapter)
The sky glowed a clear blue with wisps of clouds scattered around as rays of light shone through the tree canopy. In a steady run, Finn was on his way to the next spiritual herb while following the trail marked out by the system. At this point in time, Finn could almost taste the ramen noodles on his tongue as he reached closer to the last target of the quest objectives. In a few seconds, Finn stopped on a branch as he had reached the plant but stayed away around half a mile as he looked around for where the guardian beast lay hidden.
Seeing no beasts after checking Finn looked towards the map, "system, identify all demonic chaos beasts within a 2-mile radius", the system scanned the location and nothing popped up.
-DING, NO CHAOS BEASTS IN THE SURROUNDING LOCATION-
With a smile, Finn hopped off the tree and made a mad dash to the last spirit herb leaving a trail of leaves and dust in his wake. Upon approaching the red ghost wine grass stalk, Finn slowed down to a crawl being cautious just in case the unexpected happened to leave him with a choice between his life or the unlocking of the food shop in the system. Poking his head out of the bushes and looking around, the plant swayed in the wind smack dab in front of him only three metres away. Finn looking across felt his stomach rumble as a light of happiness shone flashed across his eyes.
Observing the area, Finn noticed what looked like a nest covered in red feathers with the bottom slightly smoking. Finn being curious thought, "as the saying goes, curiosity killed the cat, but this lord cat is going to play it safe", and with that, he walked to the plant, dug it up, and stored it away. "System please mark the path to the brewery atop of fallen fairy peak" after that a gold coloured line appeared on the map heading straight to the top of the mountain.
"Now with that done let's check out this mysterious looking nest". Finn walked across the clearing and climbed up the tree trunk towards the nest. upon reaching the nest Finn looked cautiously peered inside only to find a crimson red chicken-sized egg with flames burning below it. "system what is this?" Finn asked completely confused by why someone would think it would be a good idea to cook eggs in a nest in the middle of a forest.
-DING, THIS IS THE EGG OF A TITANIUM LEVEL PHOENIX, HOST CAN USE EGG AS A GUARDIAN BEAST OR WORLDS MOST DELICIOUS SCRAMBLED EGGS, BE ADVISED HOST IS RECOMMENDED TO LEAVE AREA IMMEDIATELY OR DIE BY THE HANDS OF A TITANIUM LEVEL PHONEIX-
Shocked by what he heard, Finn couldn't help but feel cold chill travel down his spine. swallowing Finn made a decision and reached over took the egg and smouldering nest and stored it away in his storage bracelet. Right after Finn ran like a blur down the tree and followed the map maxing out his speed as he didn't want to be the one caught with the egg like a child caught red-handed with a hand in the cookie jar and crumbs around the mouth.
Twenty kilometres away from Finn the sabretooth tiger was following his trail. Finn slowed down as he approached the foot of fallen fairy peak. Looking up a stiff slope glared right back at him as Finn sighed in exhaustion as the next leg of the quest was going to be tough, and so with jump Finn landed on the 80-degree slope and charged upwards. (Author note)- Since Finn is climbing I'll skip this part and go to when he reaches the top-.
If one were to look at the edge of the rim leading to the peak then they would see a small fluffy paw reach and grab on to the ledge followed by a second paw, whiskers, and a furry face making an expression of utter exhaustion and tiredness. Looking above the edge Finn saw the top of fallen fairy peak and lifted himself on to the ground and flopped down taking in deep breaths as his sides heaved up and down as he rested from his torturous climb. "System isn't there an easier way to climb this damn mountain?"
-DING, ELEVATOR AVAILABLE AT BASE OF MOUNTIAN TO BRING PEOPLE UP TO THE TOP, ELEVATOR LOCATED THREE METRES AWAY FROM HOST-
Sure enough, an elevator was three metres away from where Finn had flopped down, "I swear this system of mine must be a masochist and sadistic" at this time Finn didn't know whether to laugh or cry. After resting up for an hour Finn got up and Started exploring his surroundings. Around him were trees Identical to the forest way down below except they were all the colour of soft pink and had the aroma of wine which Finn liked. Moving forward a tall building surrounded by a field of grape vines and all kinds of weird plants that radiated spiritual qi appeared in front of Finn after clearing the tree line.
Following the path to the house, Finn walked slowly as he observed the colourful scenery all around him. Arriving at the door Finn lightly knocked on the door announcing his arrival. The door swung open and a teenage looking girl with charcoal black hair and soft amber eyes while wearing a pink robe greeted Finn at the door.
"Oh, hello little kitty what brings you here?" the soft amber eyed girl said as she crouched down looking at the fluffy kitty in the doorway. Finn caught off guard couldn't help but stare at the stunning beauty in front of him. "Kitty?" the soft amber eyed girl repeated.

Polar_blue sorry for the late posting. I planned to post last Thursday, but I ended up in a car for 8 hours in the states to Kentucky. also, I will post a cultivation chart on all the levels of cultivation so you guys know more about the ranking, and as always enjoy the chapter
