Chapter 14: Little suji’s plea... (pt 1)
The evil laughter got louder and louder, it sounded as if the devil was near by ready to annihilate anything in his path... Jae-Hwa Felt a ice cold shiver going down her spine. "What's that? Best get out of here but something is telling me to go and look it's as if the devil is tempting me to go and take a peak ...what is this feeling?" Jwa-Hwa mumbled herself in a little muffled voice. As blank stood there, taking her time debating whether to leave or if she should stay and let her Temptations get the better of her… As Jae-Hwa was waiting the lightest breeze ruffled up the leaves in the bushes nearby, which stood in front Of the place where she had heard the most blood-curling laughs. As the bushes swayed in tune with the wind it was as if Jae-Hwa could hear the wind whispering quietly into her ear, saying "come… Come look, don't you want to see?"
"No I better leave it nothing Good will have a come out of me being too curious… It's just like the old people to say, curiosity killed the cat." Taking a step back from the laughing bush Jae-Hwa Was getting ready to leave, however instantly, the most sorrowful crying could be heard from behind the bushes, it was a little girls voice she was begging for something, she was afraid, sounded like she feared for her life and her voice was echoing in Jae-Hwa ears. It was as if she was calling out to Jae-Hwa, begging her not to leave!
"Well I can't leave like that, what kind of person would I be if I left a girl screaming all alone by herself " Jae-Hwa decided to go and see what was happening because that little girl reminded her of herself years ago a time when she was so helpless and couldn't do anything, no one was there to reach out a helping hand, no one… it killed her to remember those feelings and she did not want anyone to feel like that ever this confirmed her choice "Right let's get started then "smiling brightly as she made her choice.
Flinging her backpack down to the ground, she hastily swung open her backpack and looked for some kind of weapon she could use. Jae-Hwa's hands were shaking she was nervous very nervous... So nervous that she could collapse right here and right now but as Jae-Hwa had those doubts those little girls cries were ringing high-pitched around her ears reminding her that she has to help. Jae-Hwa through things out of her bag rummaging through everything "a dagger?… No This most certainly will not do something about that laugh beforehand, that man who laughed… He is not a simple person, i Probably won't even get a small scratch on him if I was a hit hit him with it. " Panic, panic struck her and it's struck her for good, "I have nothing to defend myself or her with…"
Mentally preparing herself for the surprise attack she was going to launch weaponless and defenceless Jae-Hwa spotted a small little box at the side of her backpack hidden under a pile of enchantment cards. "What's this? I am sure I never packed anything like this… I must've been that old lady just trying to put more weight in my bag, honestly no wonder I didn't have a lot of space. I wonder what's in it" Jae-Hwa Slowly pushed the enchantment cards to the side and lifted up the box so delicately, the box was beautiful it was decorated in silver process all round it almost looked like a black brick that was adorned with Silver roses.
~ What on earth would I need this for… Does this old woman expect me to use this as a weapon perhaps throw it at someone the best thing to do is probably knock them out cold. How useless! Beautiful but useless! ~ as these thoughts passed through Jae-Hwa mind, a minute has already passed and the little girls screams and the laughter continued. "I must hurry" Blank through the brick aside and instantly as the brick barely touch the moist soil the sofa process started to crumble away and turned into dust.
~Well great not only is this box useless, but it's also ugly... Quite hideous since the roses are gone! But that shouldn't concern me right now~ frustratedly Jae-Hwa picked up the The box, ~ it's unlocked!~ she lifted up the case, praying to the gods that there might be some kind of European weapon inside! ~perhaps one of those what you call them black tubes? The thing is that shootout little balls yes that would be perfect!~ Jae-Hwa thought to herself as she opened, it a bright shining light was shining from within shooting out onto her face, when the light turned darker a black long whip displayed itself.
On further inspection the handle of the whip was beautiful it had engraved details most likely handcrafted, it must've been A type of family heirloom. Jae-Hwa lifted the whip out of the box and stretched it out. It had quite a bit of weight to it. ~This could do quite a lot of damage if someone were to get in the way… ~ Mischievous smile lit up on Jae-Hwa face. "It may not be that westernized weapon but this should do! Now that I have this time to get down to business" as if part of a Japanese military she marched over to the bush and aggressively grabbed it by its roots and ripped it off the ground exposing a man and Crimson red standing right in front of her, he had the most sinister look on his face yet it was gentle at the same time. Jae-Hwa recognized and found something interesting about his face, she had definitely seen this man before but who was he? Before she could continue thinking the man turned over to face Jae-Hwa directly in the eyes and opened his mouth to speak…
