Chapter 26: 26 - “Anniversary” 2
A wooden bridge was conveniently built and the couple crossed to the other side. There was a tree there surrounded with wildflowers and fireflies abound.
If one stands close to the tree and looks to the direction of the cottage, the view is even more breathtaking. The overall picture shows a panoramic view of the city below as background, the cottage skewed slightly to the lower left, the brook with the bridge lower right, and flowers with a sprinkling of fireflies in the foreground.
George was really amazed at what she saw. But when she looked up at Cody, she found him staring, not at the scenery but right at her.
