Chapter 14: On fire
The next day the whole faction, it's already lunch when the faction finally woke up.
On the top room of the tower 3 naked bodies were intertwined, Rance open his eyes slowly, he felt his arms are numb. Two beautiful ladies were still asleep and uses his arm as pillow.
He just smile and embraced them both. "Kaak! Ei, Bloom, why did you do that!?"
"Shut up! Ruffa's still asleep. You can still manage to smile after what you did? Is all men like that?"
"Kekeke, Baby Bloom not all of us. Some of them has no balls!"
Suddenly the little elf on her arms moved and opened her eyes. Her clear watery eyes blinks for a while and her gaze stop in the face of the man on her front.
"Kiyah!!" She shout and tried to escape but she can't escape his arms, she can only stop and shivers. "W-what do you need? Why are you doing this to me? Huhuhu, I can't be married ymore!"
"Haha, if you say it like that, do you mean that I can't marry you?" he tighten his grip on the both of them and whisper to them. "I'm a man, I won't let my girls suffer, I only do something that make them happy!"
"D-do you think I'm happy with this?" Ruffa exclaimed and started to cry again, "Wuhuhu, I'm still only 30 and someone already took my charity. Wuwuwu! I can't be queen anymore!"
Bloom raised her brows and pinch Ruffa's cheeks. "Fufu, so you say that Rance can't become a king? Or, you plan to take my position as the queen!?"
"N-no sister! I-i mean I want to be a concubine! T-the first concubine!"
"Haha, I feel lucky to have four wobbling mountains in front of my eye- *Slap!* W-why again?!" He was slapped left and right, and five finger marks appeared on each side of his face.
"Get dress, it's already lunch you m*ron!" Bloom stood up from the bed naked. She got few clothes on her bag and take a change. She took out another sets of clothes and give to Ruffa.
Rance only wore his pants and sit on top of the bed and stretch for a bit "Haist, why do girls looks more beautiful every after they have an intercourse while we men's were dead tired?"
"Just shut up open the stairs!"
"Haha , baby can I have you as my lunch?"
"Nope!" Bloom throws her bag on his face and pointed towards the blocked space.
"Alright, since we still need to settle this problem I'll stop, let's go and inform them that there are no affair between orcs and elves!"
"Wh-what do you mean!?" Ruffa, suddenly blush and stare at him murderously "Y-you are the one who did the thing, you monster!"
"Ehh? I never spoke about that thing? How do you know that?"
"I-It was written to the book that orcs are like that to our ancestors. W-we don't have that kind of affair in this time!"
"Haha, then why did you guys protecting them?"
She think for a while if either tell or not, she look at his face as if hoping he'll stop asking. But Rance took of his clothes, "N-no I'll speak! T-the elves ancestors want them to suffer so we used them as janitors of the forest. We also control their population if they reach a certain number, we will kill some of them!"
"If that's the case, we will hunt every orcs on our sight. They are trash! At first we though that there's a. relationship between elves and orcs so we want them help." He walk in front of the staircase and operated his mana. "What are they? Janitors? Don't make me laugh! They are using their numbers towards other race!"
"Ruffa, he's right" Bloom said and tap her shoulder, "The forest needs space, not janitors. We have to make drainage system like man made rivers, I don't know a janitor of the forest to be something this greedy!"
Ruffa also widen her eyes as if she's enlightened, she follow them to the base floor where almost 80 members of the faction are eating.
"Good morning! I'm next right?" Erick rush on his side with large eyebags, "I can't sleep earlier because of you, do you know how hard it is for us to hear something like that?"
"Shut it Erick." he said "Now that you said it, I still remember that you wants to be eunuch right?"
"....."
"Let's have our plan change. We will wipe every orcs who will get in the way. Kill the king first, the orcs number scares everything in this forest, and other races don't have a chance to reproduce."
"About that, we also have a suggestion. How about we just take them as prisoner for now?" Phina, his mother suggested and serve his food, "I heard this world has humans too. Miss. Ruffa, is there also slavery in this world?"
"Y-yes, humans have slavery magic, slavery is a magic that is create from taming magic. They make their own race slave-, w-wait!" She steps back and become restless, she pointed her finger at them shivering from fear. " First you ask as which race dominates this world, n-now you said you don't know slavery? This, w-who are you!? Are you demons!?"

Rance who was eating was choked, "Seriously? Demons? We're not!"
"Haha, dear. We are not demons. We are humans from planet earth. Since you're my son concubine, you have the rights to know. Our planet is not safe for livings anymore, for that reason our god decided to migrate us. The goddess of this world is our god's parent so we are teleported here."
"G-goddess? Another world? Y-you're not lying right?"
"Why not let's eat the food before it gets cold? After that I will go to a human city to take a look?"
The rest nodded their head in agreement and took their lunch.
After lunch, Rance continues to 'treenovate' and make their territory wider. The center of the territory, the tree tower, are surrounded with eight smaller trees. Two trees has several rooms they used it as a storage.
Four of the trees are made for Chinese and Japanese people as their shelter. Each tree have 15 rooms that's enough for them to stay, each room have their own door for their privacy.
The last two rooms were different, one of them has 6 large rooms, it was made for the group of Reen and Rasp. While the last one has seven rooms for Kong, Josei, Gelo and the rest.
Every tree towers has an extra floor, which all of them has tunnels made out of branches that connects each trees to form a pentagon. The tunnel at the middle are connected towards the 15th floor of the main tower, and this kind of tunnels can be used as escape route if something unexpected happened.
The first group which learns plant manipulation, grew several types of vegetables as their training. Mung beans, pumpkin, and eggplant are the most common, while there's a little amount of string beans and corns. The group did not try to grow rice and wheats because these crops needed to be process first.
They store corns, and mung beans to the higher part of the tree because this type of foods will be helpful to their survival. This way they can survive until he came back from his investigation.
Afternoon when Rance started to make his preparation. He made cloaks out of wood fibers, and boots out of solidified wood. He put all of his weapons inside his spacial ring and equip his hands with gloves made up of dried vines.
"Guys, be safe and vigilante. We are going to visit the nearest city for information and returns as soon as possible. I make a cover for each windows with tin strings as a defensive barrier. I also blocked the entrance from the first floor for safety. Visit the orcs at the prison I made to feed them, we still have plans for them."
After giving goodbyes and goosluck, Rance, Bloom and Ruffa sprints in the wood towards the south. The forest is were too dark for them, if someone enters accidentally, either they die of hunger, or be hunted by it's inhabitants.
They encountered a lot of nocturnal beast on the way, but they decided to run instead to save their strength if an unexpected thing happens. They travel on top of the trees to escaped the enormous beasts on the ground. The branches of the towering trees which are connected help them to travel faster. Bloom can't keep her balance like Ruffa and Rance. Rance can't help but carry her on his back, and run faster.
Tree tops were not safe either, snakes and poisonous insects were lurking underneath the leaves of the tree and waiting for opportunity.
"S-sir Rance."
Rance glance at her and chuckled. "You can call me Rance or honey! Haha."
"R-rance," Her face turned red and lowers her head, "We need to move faster. In the middle of the night, a three headed Python will be hunting in this part of the forest. They move this far from us because we hunt them, and there's only three of us. We can't fight them head on."
"Is that so? Alright then, come over here!"
"Okay, but why?" She stops and approach him with a puzzled face. "Ehh!? P-put me down!"
"Oh, shut up!" He carried Ruffa like a princess on his hands, she tried to escapes but her efforts are futile, he is much stronger than her.
He rush in the middle of the night like the flash! The leaves dances in harmony, looking on his direction. 'Sprint!' 'Ankle breaker stage 5!'
Just after a few minutes, they finally reach a city in red, red towering fires. In one corner of the city, the house which are made light materials are turning into ashes every minute, the concrete walls is full of cracks, the outside are covered with corpse with corpse and bloody arrows. A few burn land which are not made by a simple explosion, the size was little smaller than the fireballs they made, but the burning effect when it lands were the same.
Rance put down the girls to take a better look. "The corpse are not of a human, they looks like a demon? They have horns furs. Ruffa what are they?"
Ruffa step forward and look at scene, "No, they're not demons or humans, they're beastmen. They're members of goat tribe, they are one of the strongest tribe in this region years ago. That was because of blessing of baphomet."
"Looks like they tried to attack the city and been wiped out?"
Rance operated his mana and was about to charge towards the walls when a battalion of armed men walk out of the city gate, on their side are group of bloody Goatkin warriors with metal chains to bind them.
"Captain, what will we do with this group? If we kill them, the king will reward us considerably!" soldier 1
"No, we can't kill them." Tue captain comb his beard and smirked. "We have to kill them without anyone knowing, we might attract the lionkins wrath if the news spreads toward other beastkins."
"Yes, now I remember how terrible the king was. He might directed the blame to us without a budge!" Soldier 1
"Well then go, let your people with skills to dig! We will burry them alive together with their dead kin! Puhuhu!"
The group of soldier with elemental magic of earth started to dig. The hole has 10 meters perimeter, and every ten minutes, they can dig 2 meters deeper. The pit was done after thirty minutes, they throw the corpse inside the 6 meter deep pit like a thrash.
Looking at their kin's corpse to be handled like that, the goatkin's warrior can't help but to grit their teeth. "If the god is real, if I manage to survive. I will do everything to wipe every human in this world! Even if it's innocent or not!"
"Kuhaha! Don't expect to live another day! The darkness are the only witness to your race's end!"

They kick all of them inside the pit without a warning. They might have solid body but the height of where they landed six meters high! There might be corpse but their hands were chained! They bloody of their kin's spread to their body, their face distorted and tears wiped the blood stain on their cheeks.
On the darkness, on top of a tree, three silhouettes are watching them hurried the last men of the goats kin to be burried alive.
"Looks like we've found a new member for our faction. Well, I did not think that human in this world has rotten habit of being the most racist I know! 'Land Manipulation!' "
