Chapter 15: The Shipwright and The Princess
Loguetown Marine Base.
Captain Smoker's office.
Setting on a desk, a muscular, white-haired man, smoking two cigars at once. He wears a large thick white and blue specialist marine jacket which was open revealing his muscular chest. Currently his face was solemn.
The opposite of him, was a young woman with dark brown eyes. She wears her black hair between chin- and shoulder-length with a katana tied on her left waist. She looks remarkably similar to Kuina. The only difference was her rectangular glasses with red frames.
The young woman face was pale and indignant, while reading the document in front of her, which contains some informations along with orders from the higher-ups.
"Smoker Taisa, what does that mean?! we would just watch those vile criminals strolling around the island looting and killing people, and to not 'offend' them?! what type of justice is this?! is this really an order the higher-ups would claim?" The young woman was shocked reading the information in front her. she was ordered not to offend a pirate. that was just too ridiculous.
"Sigh, you are too young Tashigi. It seems you don't understand what does it mean to have a 1Billion on your head! after all, you never left the East Blue." said Smoker with a sigh while lamenting his weakness.
"What do you mean Smoker Taisa? even if this vile pirate is strong, you are a logia devil fruit user, he can't touch you at all" as if remembering something, she gritted her teeth" Not to mention, that one of this crew even have the gale to pretend being me while carrying a precious sword! this is simply a provocation." Tashigi was almost about to lose her mind.
"I may run amuck in the East Blue, while having few contenders in the Grand Line, but that's only in the first half 'Paradise', I will be killed with a punch if I entered the second Half ' New world', The second part of the Grand Line is literally a cemetery for Devil fruit users! the stronger there could use a mysterious power called 'Haki' that could negate the power of the devil fruit, so without mastering this power, facing those pirates would be a ticket to hell. The order is to protect us from dying in vain."
"What?!" Tashigi was dumbfounded! she thought Smoker with his devil fruit was invincible, it seems she was deadly wrong!
"But don't worry, if those pirates done something wrong in my territory, I would fight against them even if it means my death!" said Smoker solemnly!
The room was strangely silent, they were totally hopeless!
"A female Shipwright! quite the strange sight" said Luffy as he approached a blue-haired young woman working on a wooden structure.
Turning her head, she was surprised to see a somehow familiar handsome young man, but she couldn't remember where she met him before.
"Yes, well, I'm doing my best!" said the young woman in a self mocking tone, after all, she was really ostracised here because of her gender along with her foolish dreams.
"I can see that you are very popular here!" said Luffy with a smirk, while watching the scorn and ridicule in the eyes of her fellows Shipwrights.
"Is it solely because of 'Gender'?" Luffy was curious, after all, even though a woman in this field seems quite strange, but it won't generate all this malicious eyes.
"Why should I tell you?" The girl started to feel that this young man was really strange, she didn't know him nor did he seems a 'customer', why did he seem curious about her.
"Who knows? maybe I can help" said Luffy with a confident tone, which provoked a smile from the girl.
"Well, Promise not to laugh" said the girl seriously after she thought about it for a moment. After all the boy seems a feast to the eyes, she wouldn't mind sharing her dream with him, moreover, it was known to the public, and that was also the reason she was scoffed!
"I promise!"
"I always thought that 'shipwright' field is more than just building 'traditional' ships with almost the same design, it's boring repeating the same actions everyday, why do not people think of evolve it, I mean flying ships, Sub water ships... I mean there are a lot of options, it doesn't just have to be a normal ship! My dream is to evolve the shipbuilding field to something more phenomenal" as she finished her monologue, she could hear the mocking laughter from all around, she couldn't help but turn towards Luffy, but what surprised her, there was only admiration.
"Actually, I want to be the Pirate king, no, a Pirate God would be more fitting for someone like me, and what you dream about actually is not that crazy, after all, there are Train stations in some Islands in the Grand Line, there is also a coating technique that people use to travel under the water, who knows maybe there are flying ships too, so why would I laugh?" said Luffy in a gentle tone.
The girl was astonished, as the young man could spew such nonsense without feeling ashamed, but she couldn't hide her happy smile, as she finally found someone that didn't laugh at her dream, rather encouraged her.
"Gulp"
"Is this guy crazy?! Pirate King?!"
"It seems that he hit his head badly or something!"
"No wonder, they say that crazy people can recognize each other from miles!"
Some people in the surrounding were happy to insult them, but a few others were trembling! because they recognize the guy.
"Well, how about joining me? I have a lot of crew members with dreams more ridiculous than yours!"
"Joining you?" she caught of guard, join him into what?
"Well, you have 8 hours to think about it, I am giving you the chance to change your life, the choice is yours! if you are coming, wait me at the Dock after 8 hours" as he said that, he vanished leaving everybody stunned!
Even 'Bulma' was flabbergasted.
"Ouf, He finally left!"
"I thought I would die"
"Idiots! where did you get the gall to curse at him?! don't you know who is he?!! I almost fainted from pissing my pants you bastards!"
"W-What's wrong with you boss? Isn't he some crazy kid?"
"He is Monkey D Luffy, a pirate with a bounty of Billion berry on his head! if you want to die, don't drag me with you!"
Bulma was again surprised! that kind looking guy was a pirate with a shocking bounty?! but she couldn't help but thought more about the 'chance' he talked about.
In a remote area of Loguetown.
"Princess Tsunade, it's a pleasure to meet you!" said a man with a spiky black hair and a tattoo on the left side of his face, which is colored dark red. He was dressed in a long green cloak.
"The pleasure is mine, Sir 'Dragon'!" said the girl named Tsunade with a courteous expression.
"So, What's the deal?" Dragon was direct which made it hard to the little girl.
"We need your help, more like, we need the help of your army to create some chaos in Wano Kingdom" said the girl with a solemn tone.
"Ho, so you want to use the chaos to stage some coup d'etat, usurping Kurozumi Orochi authority. I see, What do I get from that?"
"The full support of Wano in your quest!" said the girl while gritting her teeth.
"Having the support of Wano is something that I'm in need of, but provoking 'Kaido' may not be a good choice in the current situation, all I can help with is creating some small chances, I can't have a direct warfare with Kaido" said Dragon in a flat tone. he already has the WG and Marines staring at his ass, if he provoke Kaido, he would be fucked!
As Tsunade was gritting her teeth, trying to add some chips and benefits to convince him, her bodyguards were tense, as they could see that this deal won't be happening, a mocking tone was heard from behind them.
"That's the world most dangerous man for you hehehe! how about this, I don't need any support from your kingdom, I only want you, not only I'll help you create chaos, I will take care of Kaido, do we have a deal?" a lazy young man made his way through the darkness of the alleway.
The both of them along with the guards were dazed for different reasons.
Dragon has a guilty countenance, he could feel that his son was throwing a tantrum, but he couldn't help but sigh while turning to leave, he can't face his son yet. he was already aware of the turbulence that his son create, and he was proud, but it's not the time yet!
"Coward!" said Luffy while gritting his teeth.
Tsunade was completely amazed! she recognized the young man as he was the talk of the sea lately, having a bounty of billion from the get-go. But she couldn't understand his arrogance, speaking about Kaido like nothing, what made her more thunderstruck, he was insulting Dragon, while Dragon just left like that!
"So, do we have a deal?" asked the young man again with a confident smirk in his face.
Tsunade couldn't understand why, but he looks very domineering that she just wanted to shout 'take me'
"Brat! what do you mean by wanting me you pervert?!" Regaining her bearing, she couldn't but shout at him, the other guards were also looking at him with menacing eyes.
"What's going on on that dirty mind of yours? I mean joining my crew, Ho, so even The Wano fallen princess is only a girl after all" said Luffy with teasing tone making Tsunade blush with shame.
"Anyway, that guy left, so that leaves you with me alone! are you in or not?"
Gritting her teeth. She couldn't help but resign, after all, he could even chase Dragon away, he must be at least stronger as a Yonko Executive. At least she got some help.
"Alright!"
"Ah, another thing, only you, send those useless guys away, They won't ride my ship!"
The guards almost vomit blood in anger! If it wasn't for Tsunade glare, they would have bite him to death.
"Let's meet at the Dock after finishing your business!" as he said that, he started heading towards the marine base, now that he came here, he should try to take Tashigi, having twins under his crotch seems to be wonderful, at least, he should try to take some advantages, it would be sad if smoker didn't stalk him in the Grand Line.
