While she did not feel that she did any wrong by obeying school rules, she still apologized by reflex.

Mo Shan gave her a chilly glance before pushing her wheelchair back. "Make me a meal. I'm hungry."

"Okay."

Mo Ning deftly prepared three dishes and a soup.

Little did she knew that Mo Shan was going to be nitpicking on her on the dining table again.

She understood that her mother was unhappy that she had not come back to visit for a whole month, so she lowered her head to explain. "I'm really sorry. But school rules only allow those who lives inside the dorm to come back once a month. If you are unhappy with this arrangement, I can apply to leave the dorm."

"No!" Mo Shan rejected without much of a thought. "You need to stay in school!"

It was illogical that she wanted Mo Ning to stay in school yet throw a temper tantrum at her.

Mo Ning simply just endured it and did not ask any further. Only nodding in acquiescence.
