Chapter 197: Only For Her

Huo Chen pushed the shopping cart as she slowly filled it up.

He would make the occasional contribution to the shopping cart. Lu Zhaoyang noticed that they were all her favourite.

He still remembered after all this time.

They left the mall with two big bags of groceries.

Lu Zhaoyang's bag was very light, and she had only gotten it by insisting to help Huo Chen.

She wanted to share the burden despite how little she could do.

Back at the cottage, Lu Zhaoyang unpacked the other items while Huo Chen brought the fresh vegetables and meat to the kitchen.

She watched him from the sofa and joked, "Don't push yourself, alright? There won't be any dinner if the kitchen is burnt down."

Huo Chen stored the extra ingredients into the fridge and smile. "Come help me, then!"

"Oh, but I'm feeling a little tired now. How about this, I'll check out your skills first before I decide whether you need help!"
