Chapter 28: [Myriad Orb Of Infinity], Nirvanic Regeneration.
One more month passed.
Ikuya was still carrying out many research with the Phoenix Blood while his growing mount Fera was taking a nap in a corner.
During this one month, Ikuya had spent quite a bit of time on developing the profound veins of Fera. It's profound strength was had increased by 7 levels in this month because of Ikuya's assistance.
Though, Fera seems to have developed a habit of sleeping a lot and also eating a lot, which it seems to have copied from it's 'Father' Ikuya.
Ikuya had also granted it a Size-Manipulation ability genetically as he didn't want to carry around a massive bird with him, getting all the unwanted attention. Currently, Fera can only change it's size to a smaller degree, but as it gets familiar with the ability, it will be able to get more bigger than its original size as well.
Ikuya's cultivation hasn't had any breakthrough in the last month as his Genesis Veins seems to adapt to the power of the Earth Profound Realm cultivation base.
The next day,
Ikuya was meditating, while being under 40 times the gravity(120 times Earth's gravity), the mysterious white pearl came out from within his mind realm on its own as it was floating before Ikuya, much to his surprise.
It still had the silver shine, albeit, it was much brighter than the first time the silver shine appeared on the white pearl.
Suddenly, a white flow of energy came out from the white pearl as it surrounded Ikuya.
Ikuya was utterly confused. He has never come in contact with something like this white energy. But for some reason, he had a very bad feeling about this.
" Ngh..."
His intuition turned out to be correct as the white energy entered his body and started to wreck havoc within his body, causing him major pain, the likes of which he has never experienced before.
*Thud!*
The white energy seemed to destroy his blood veins, organs, his bones, his very body itself and after ten minutes, Ikuya powerlessly fell to the ground.
" Ah...." Ikuya was lying on the ground with blank eyes, still confused as to what just happened.
Fera who was sleeping in a corner had no idea that it's 'Father' was in trouble. Since Ikuya wouldn't scream out in pain like others, Fera of course had no way of knowing about Ikuya's dilemma while it was in deep sleep.
Ikuya then used a bit of effort to look up and saw the white pearl hovering around him, then suddenly, it started to absorb Ikuya's blood as it had absorbed 40% of his blood in a matter of seconds.
Ikuya felt like he was about to lose his consciousness as he saw that the white pearl opened the pocket dimension that only he should be able to open as thousands of red ruby like blood drops came out from his pocket dimension and was absorbed by the white pearl as it shined with red golden light for a few seconds.
A total of 8,000 Phoenix Origin Blood drops was absorbed by the white pearl.
Suddenly, a wave of golden flame-like energy flowed out of the white pearl as the golden flame-like energy flow entered Ikuya's body. All his destroyed body cells started to rejuvenate as it stared to evolve. Even the blood that had been sucked out by the white pearl was being regenerated and was also evolving as the golden energy was being infused to Ikuya's very DNA(Genome).
His Ki was increasing dramatically and his regenerative powers have been increased to a whole new level as there was a golden flame flickering around his injuries, healing them, yet his body was getting stronger by the second.
But, Ikuya couldn't hold on any longer and lost his consciousness as the process of the seemingly endless amount of golden flame-like energy was being infused to every part of Ikuya.
After three hours.
Inside the illuminated cave, Sorrowsouth mountain.
Ikuya opened his eyes as he examined his surrounding. Seeing that there is no changes and only a few minutes seems to have passed, Ikuya stood up and examined himself. There was a new memory in Ikuya's mind, which was about the white pearl. Supposedly, it's called [Myriad Orb Of Infinity] and there was also some knowledge on how to use some abilities of the [Myriad Orb Of Infinity]. After looking through the memories, He got back to observing the changes within him.
Ikuya was surprised by the changes in his body and strength. His Alpha Saiyan DNA seems to have a new genetic coding and his existing Alpha Saiyan DNA seems to have been sort of upgraded. His S-Cells seems to have evolved and now seems to have a regenerative property. Or rather, it was more appropriate to call it Nirvana Rebirth.
Now his body possesses a new perk, which is.....
Ikuya's cells now possess the same ability as Phoenix's Nirvana ability and his regenerative powers are now on par with the Primordial Divine Beast, Phoenix.
Ikuya is also capable of freely using the Phoenix Flames like breathing, just like the Original Phoenix.
Even though Ikuya still had his Alpha Saiyan genes unchanged, his Alpha Saiyan genes seems to have gained all the abilities of the Phoenix. Even the so-called Nirvana Rebirth Ability. Even his soul now had the properties of the Phoenix, yet, it still remained unchanged.
Ikuya's mental energy has increased quite a bit.
His Genesis Veins seems to have evolved again and his cultivation has regressed to mere 10th level Elementary Profound Realm. Or rather, saying compressed is more appropriate.
His profound energy had become even more purer and denser than before and now, his profound energy contained the attributes of purification.
Ikuya's Saiyan perk, Zenkai Boost has been boosted by a lot due to his new regenerative powers, which he refers to as 'Nirvanic Regeneration'. His body has gotten considerably stronger and his Ki has also increased by almost thrice.
" Looks like this [Myriad Orb Of Infinity] has abilities the likes of which I can't even begin to imagine. Even for me, such an achievement would've taken me centuries of research." Ikuya muttered as a white pearl with silvery glow, which was precisely the [Myriad Orb Of Infinity], levitating in his palm.
Yes. Even an overpowered ability like Genetic Access has some limitations on the user. For Ikuya, he needs to have extensive knowledge on genetics and also an extremely calm mind when activating the Genetic Access, which makes it impractical in a tough battle.
That is why Ikuya created a bunch of supernatural powers for himself.
As simple as it may seem, possessing extensive knowledge on genetics is no easy feat. Ikuya's knowledge on genetics has far transcended what humanity has researched, yet, Ikuya is sure that there are many things about genetics that he doesn't know of.
Ikuya then fixed up his clothes and then turned to see Fera who was still sleeping without a care in the world.
*Slap!*
" Screech?!!"
Ikuya slapped Fera in the back of its head, earning a startled cry from the Phoenix.
" Wake up you stupid bird. We're leaving this place." Ikuya said as he looked at the startled Fera.
" Scree?"
Ikuya walked to the entrance of the cave and looked at the bright sky and thought, ' Looks like I have more reason to go after the other bloodlines. My next target should be Dragon God Trials.'
