The next day, as they practice Eureka could feel hesitation from the others' movement other than that of Raven, she could only sigh.
She at the same time felt irritation towards this reaction.
Being a knight, it is normal for one to become a murderer. And for their hands to be tainted with blood.
Are they scared? For what?
Just what kind of childishness is this?
She couldn't help but to call them brats in her mind.
"Stop," Raven stopped them.
Everyone looked at him as they stop their movements.
"What are your problems?" he said looking at the other four.
"W-What do you mean?" Karen asked with uncertainty but she couldn't look straight in his eyes.
"Do we look like we have problems right now?" Hideyoshi added.
While Feena and Mamoru looked away from Raven.
"If you're going to act like this just because of what happened last night, you aren't fit to be a knight," disappointment visible in his eyes.
"Knights kill during wars, they kill during an invasion. Once you become one, your hands would be tainted by the blood of numerous people. Whether they are righteous or not, even you could die at their hands."
Eureka faced him for he just voiced out what she was thinking moments ago, she also nodded in approval.
'It seems he had a lot of thought from last night', she thinks as she waited for the reaction of the other four.
But after waiting for a bit and there was none.
"You can be assured that I won't kill anyone from this competition if that is what you're scared about. So please bear with me at least until graduation then we can all go on our own ways."
She spoke her eyes moving from one side to the other.
'They must have been well sheltered,' she thought after saying all of this.
"We're not scared," Feena spoke for the four of them, a bit offended that they were called scared when they are training to be knights.
"Indeed we were hesitating while facing you right now but not because we're scared of what you said last night or anything," she continued.
"But because we don't know how we'll approach you after we let you leave just like that. It's like we suddenly got scared of you and we can't even face you because of your words."
"That's kind of confusing," Eureka answered as she tilted her head to the side.
"Basically, we're sorry for letting you leave as if what you did was wrong last night," Hideyoshi replied bowing his head while the others followed.
"I only left because I lost interest, plus I really am not a party person," she replied matter of factly.
"I really don't get why you guys are hesitating or apologizing because of that. I already said this to Raven last night, everything I said were nothing but the truth."
She had a frown on her face hearing an apology from them, 'They are thinking too much of things. And sometimes these type of people are the ones who would rely a lot on their emotions.'
"The person concerned isn't affected by what happened last night, so why are you all acting this way?" Raven interjected.
"Throw everything out of the window and refresh your minds. We still have battles waiting for us. Let's go back to practice," he then commanded.
With his words, their practice resumed and this time Eureka noticed that their hesitations are gone.
'No wonder he's the leader. He knew how to lead his team,' she complimented in her mind.
After their morning practice.
"Why don't we eat breakfast together this time?" Feena invited.
"Sorry, we are going to visit someone right now," Mamoru answered.
"Maybe next time," Hideyoshi smiled and wave them goodbye.
They could only watch the back of the boys until they disappear.
"Eureka," Feena started looking at Eureka.
"Aren't you curious?"
"About what?"
"About what Kyro said last night. Raven being... you know" Karen said looking conflicted if she's going to say the word or not.
"I'm not," she flatly replied.
Cause she really isn't interested, everyone has their own different pasts. If someone wants to say it, they'll say it. If they don't then they don't.
"See I told you she wouldn't be interested," Feena said to Karen.
"Why are you guys curious?" she asked facing them.
"Aren't you all friends for so long already?" she added.
"We are, but it happened back when we were all 8. Feena and I are not yet with them during that time," Karen said looking to where the boys disappeared to.
Eureka shrugged it off, "Anyway I can't come with you to breakfast as well, I'm already done before leaving the dorm awhile ago so I'll be leaving as well."
The other two could only watch her as she walked away.
"She really isn't interested in having friends, is she?" Karen asked Feena dejectedly.
"I guess, her words last night is the same as saying, we are together right now because we have the same goals once it's over then we disband," Feena answered as she leads Karen to the cafeteria.
"Is she not lonely?" Karen wondered.
For someone like them who grew up with their friends, they found Eureka's attitude of remaining alone quite lonely.
"She only interacts with the headmaster most of the time. And here I thought that when we helped her with her wounds back on her trial we'll gain another female friend."
Karen couldn't stop thinking to when they talked for a bit about Eureka's past.
"But what she said is true, somehow if we were not short of people we wouldn't have talked to her in the first place," Feena commented.
"That's right, we only glanced at her when she passes by but we never really placed any importance to what she had been doing all this time," Karen nodded her head agreeing to Feena.
"But still, I actually thought that the time we have been spending together would help develop a relationship between her and us."
She continued lamenting as they take their food and look for a place to sit.
"I think she just chose not to try and get close to anyone," Feena commented.
"Do you think it is because she thinks of herself as an outsider?" Karen asked again.
"I don't know. Cause even in her eyes she never showed any emotions that implied whether she's happy to be with us or not. Anyway, finish your food we still have a lot of things to do."
Feena could only end their conversation there. If this goes on they might end up wanting to know her even more but may only step on something they must not step into.

On the other side.
"Hiro, we're almost there. We're only a few steps away from becoming a knight."
Standing before a grave beside a falls, Hideyoshi patted the stone grave.
"Do you think he's happy for us?" he couldn't help but ask the other two standing behind him.
"It was our dream from the get-go, so we could only live our lives and reach the dreams we shared. We'll become knights he could be proud of," Mamoru answered looking at the grave.
"Hey Raven, what did you speak with Eureka after you left the party?" Hideyoshi, being as talkative as he is, asked Raven curiously.
Sitting down beside the grave, Raven shrugged, "Nothing important."
"Are you sure? You know like what she meant with what she said and stuffs like that. You didn't talk about it?"
"It seems that she had a few memories of her past, compared to what was said that she has no memories and it seems that she was from a place where war is ongoing," he answered with what he had thought so far.
"That's right, the headmaster told us that Eureka lost her memories 4 years ago but last night she said words like her experience from the past," Hideyoshi nodded his head.
Mamoru remembered that time where the headmaster told them how Eureka arrived to their kingdom, Aurora Kingdom.
Compared the the other three kingdom, Aurora was the only kingdom close to the sea. So sea foods are among the famous exported goods they have.
For the other kingdoms to reach the ocean that was not within the Aurora Kingdom's territory, they needed to travel at least two and a half moths. While a travel to Aurora would only be around two months.
Despite the fact that the four kingdoms are not really interacting with one another, they still trade but with the same few people all year round.
They tried their best to lessen the interaction as much as they can.
"Do you think she really killed more than one person?" Hideyoshi suddenly asked.
"Why don't you go and ask her? Why ask us?" Raven replied as he stood up ready to leave.
"Hiro we're leaving now. Watch over us okay? As we sweep the floor with your brother," Hideyoshi jokingly said and Mamoru smacked his head.
"Nice way of putting your goodbyes."
