Chapter 14: Once again with the BOSS
"Nero, can you show me some kind of status screen about the BOSS?", asked Stephen.
He wanted to know how powerful this beast was. Presence is one thing, but the information is completely another. That powerful presence could be just some kind of skill, such as 'Intimidation' and so on. But it can't reflect the strength of the BOSS in any way.
That's why Stephen tried to confirm it using system.

"Haa. Too bad. I really wanted to know if his strength is real or fake.", sighed Stephen in regret.
"So Nero, can you give me any other useful information about the BOSS?", Stephen tried to get as much information as possible.

Then Stephen once again went to the cave.
When he reached 30m away from the cave, he once again halted his footsteps. He didn't want to get any closer, because he once again felt a pressure emitted from the BOSS.
Even if he felt intimidated, Stephen didn't ran away like the last time. It's seems that chat with Nero really helped him to overcome his fear.
So now Stephen could take a better look at the BOSS. He was at least 1.5 time larger than normal lion. And as it name suggests, this mutated lion had a blood-red eyes that sparkled like a ruby in the darkness. A blood-red mane and the tip of the tail that danced like fire on the wind.
He laid there like overlord, looking with disdain at Stephen. It seems that he remembered this scaredy-cat that ran away as soon as he saw him.
Stephen's expression crumbled right away when he saw this. He made a vow that he will skin this overgrown cat. He will make a coat from his skin like Heracles made from the Nemean Lion.
Ignoring this overgrown cat, Stephen started to study the surroundings. Cover of the cave was not very big, so the plan with avalanche was not realistic. Not to mention that he had no way to make it happen even if it was big enough.
Then, the area outside the cave. There were nothing around 50-60 meters outside the cave. It was an empty and flat piece of land. Without trees, bushes and something else.
Various thoughts ran inside his head. He was trying to come up with at least some realistic plan. But he could not do it. All of them were not good enough to even try them.
After spending 2 hours there, Stephen decided not to waste time any more. He had 5 more days to come up with something, that's why he continued scouting the remaining part of the forest.
