'Should I really give up?' It was when she was having this thought when she heard Chuantong's tired voice in her head. And like hearing the voice of an angel, her eyes sparkled with excitement and joy.

Chuantong had just finished the tasks Aya gave and she was tired using her powers to make the beasts unconscious and make them in a 'incubation' state while floating around in an enclosed space she made inside to make it easier for Aya to practice her possessions and cultivation later. The more Aya gets stronger the more she would recover her powers.
Being a Legacy Ancestry Spirit they were born with power and strength but was and will always be bound to the body and soul of the one they resides in, especially if that person is their 'acknowledged master'. The more their host or master suffered they would feel it too, as if an extension of their host or Master's state. And when their host or master died they would suffer an intense backlash of power as a result. And as she resides in the mind space of Aya, she was in a weakened state.
First was when Aya was a mortal and couldn't cultivate, no matter what she tried, her voice couldn't reach Aya and thus she was unable to guide Aya to cultivate, making her senses as a Legacy Ancestry Spirit to be dull for a long time.
Second was when Aya was captured and tortured. Chuantong sensed the danger to her host but was unable to help nor warn her, suffering alongside her host as a result.
Third was when Aya was killed. Or her 'mortal body' died. Chuantong was helpless and suffering alongside Aya. Her powers were weakening in a rapid pace, so when Chuantong saw Maya pulled the trigger to finished off her host, she was really mad! It gave her the fright of her long life!
Worried of the intense backlash of power, Chuantong gave it her all trying to save Aya.
But when she was about to somehow pull it through, Maya then decided to feed her host to the beasts in the dangerous forbidden "Tiandi Forest". By then, Chuantong was utterly livid! Her powers were rapidly weakening and she was facing the intense backlash of her power. Her only chance of a turn over would be with Aya's soul. Since she can't do anything for Aya's 'mortal body' anymore, then, Chuantong can only help her host's soul. And so, Chuantong once again exhaust everything she could to help Aya survive.
Good thing, Aya possess a special soul that would allow her to awaken given an opportunity, and this is one of such opportunity. It could be said that this misfortune opens the path of fortune for Aya.
If Maya knew that she had unknowingly given Aya a chance to change her pre-destined fate and be able to cultivate thanks to her madness and unknowingly cornering Chuantong to exert all her efforts, power and knowledge to help Aya what would be her reaction to it? Would she have pass out or vomit blood out of anger? But that would be for later because Maya despite all her efforts to make Aya suffer to the point of killing her was currently clueless of the present situation. By now, she was having the time of her life celebrating 'Aya's death'.

When Chuantong finished her tasks, she immediately communicated through Aya's mind.
[Reporting to Master. Chuantong has finished the tasks given by Master. Every beasts corpse were fed to the Devouring Seijō, while the rest has been put to sleep and now being incubated and ready to be used anytime Master wishes to.]
While reporting, Chuantong suddenly felt cold, and her little body trembles as she have goosebumps all over and her heart was thumping fast. She felt dark as abyss eyes on her, eyeing her like a prey and warning bells were ringing in her head. She didn't know why but she felt like something bad is coming her way.
'This is bad! Why is Master looking at me like a prey? Chuantong has been good Master!'
[Master? Is there something wrong?]
Chuantong gulped twice before she continuously added, [Chuantong made sure everything Master ordered has be done perfectly. There would absolutely no problem later when you used them! I even cleaned them up in case Master doesn't like their smell, as they reek blood. Oh! I've sanitized them too…]

After hearing Chuantong's report, Aya was even more certain of her idea. She was now smiling from ear to ear and the glow on her face expresses her jubilation and excitement.
'That's right. Why didn't I think of it before? Tsk. I've been wasting time troubling myself of what to do when I'm not even alone. Hehe… Chuantong, Chuantong. You really are my angel.'
[Chuantong, my darling angel… Your Master here needs to spend all her time cultivating. You know how hard it is, right? You see… I'm still in pain…]
While she was saying that to Chuantong through their connection, Aya suddenly look forlorn, her dark as abyss eyes that were sparkling like stars were now swimming with unshed tears. Aya, who was beaming and excited before now looks tired and in so much pain as her buttered body seems to be too frail and weak. Her complexion became pale while looking pitiful.
Seeing her Master like this, the soft-hearted Chuantong fell for Aya's act. She forgot that earlier, her Master was clearly the opposite of what she looks now.
[Master don't worry. You can be at ease. No one will bother you while you recuperate and cultivate. About other things I will do it! You can entrust everything to Chuantong!]
Aya was delighted inside but didn't show it.
[Really? You will everything else while I recuperate and cultivate? You will do… anything? Promise?]
After saying that, Aya did her best puppy look that sealed the fate of the poor Legacy Ancestry Spirit Chuantong to became a nanny.
[Yes, Master. I promise. A Legacy Ancestry Spirit's promise will never be broken.]
Chuantong said in a serious tone, as she engraved it into her heart and soul.
