"Is there food in the kitchen?"
Pei Ge revealed a look of surprise as she went downstairs and did not hear Ji Ziming mention that there was lunch prepared for her in the kitchen.
"Yes, Grandma made it. Oh, Grandma, Uncle Charlie, Uncle, and Auntie Mao went to the hospital to accompany Auntie Mao for her follow-up."
Ran Ran stood up and wanted to bring Pei Ge to the kitchen by herself. She ignored the foam on her hands and quickly walked to the door, pulling Pei Ge into the kitchen.
"Sigh… Ran Ran…"
The sudden touch on her arm made Pei Ge's lips curl into a smile as she watched her daughter worry for her.
"Ran Ran, slow down. Mommy isn't hungry yet."
Pei Ge revealed an awkward expression. She was neither hungry nor did she want to follow Ran Ran into the kitchen. Her legs were in so much pain that she could not walk fast, let alone run fast while pulling her daughter.
