Chapter 145: Expedition (3)

Over the last year preparations had been underway for the Galactic Empire to step into the world stage. Even if Dax did show off his drones and weaponry to the central kingdom's nobles and to some extend the 14th sanctuary when using then to suppress the north, but this time it was different. Now that Dax had finally gathered the numbers needed there was no more reason to stay hidden, from now on drones would patrol the streets near the complex in Kingstead openly without cloaks, The CAS-7A and other aircraft would no longer do stealth landings and takeoffs, but most importantly there would be no more negotiations or bowing down to foreign powers: Now it was either submit fully and unconditionally or be destroyed. The reasons for that included personal pride, problems maintaining logistic chains but most importantly it would be infinitely easier to openly subdue hostiles and size salvageable technology from them if Dax and his drone army can operate without restrictions.
