It was the last night before Dax and his group would be leaving, having finished inspecting the GA-05E and finding it to have no issues all assets would withdraw at dawn. Lux and Mare were sleeping together in a tent, as did Iris and Terra while Solaris slept alone, as did Lilly in a 4 person tent that Dax currently was approaching.

"Good evening Zephyr."

Greeting the magic beast laying lazely outside the tent as a guard dog Dax expected to pass right by it, but was blocked from entering by the wolf like creature.

"What?"

Looking into the large golden eyes of the creature Dax reached out and started patting Zephyr's head.

"Have you received your payment, o noble gatekeeper?"

Assessing that the noble wolf had accepted his bribe Dax once more tried passing Zephyr, but was blocked when a presence behind the proud wolf reminded its what its job was.

"Grrrrrr!"

"... Really?"
