Chapter 1: Beginning
2018- Earth
"Vince...Vince...VINCE WAKE UP!"
*slap*
"OOOWWW", A sudden slap wakes me up from my wonderful dream. As I open my eyes and look towards my left I see a tall light skinned girl repeatedly screaming and hitting my head. "Wah…what do you want." I ask still groggy. "Vince hurry get dressed, something bad is happening outside" my little sister says in a frantic tone.
As I hear the urgency in her voice I immediately jumped out of bed and put clothes on as fast as I could then asked, "What happened, is everything ok?" Towards my little sister who is now peeking outside the window.
I get besides her and cautiously look outside the window, only to see one of the most frightening sights of my life. The sky which is usually dark at around this time is filled with fire everywhere and the screams of agony is disturbing to the point where it looks surreal. As my eyes dart around in confusion I hear my sister voice next to me saying "Vince, something strange is happening."
"No shit", I responded.
"No. Not that, look at that guy over there." I follow her finger only to see a guy in a futuristic looking suit shooting fire out of his hands, and as I look closely there are dozens of people similar to this guys actively setting building after building on fire.
Anyone who got close to them would be set ablaze and they would ignore those suicidal folks and continue burning.
"What the hell has happened to this world." I mutter under my breath.
And this is when it all happened.
*HUMANS OF THE EARTH, HEAR ME* a resounding robotic voice cries out.
*THIS WORLD IS NOW THE PROPERTY OF THE MONARCH, ALL WHO REBELS SHALL DIE*
