Chapter 7: Getting a sword
After my first day at the academy was already the weekend, so this time I was planning to level up and met Anna for a day at least, I have two days so the time is enough, first I need some supplies, things like a sword, food, water, if I can an armor, with my money (200 silver) I can buy all of these things but what will cost the most is the transport to go to the town of Anna and to go to the forest, maybe I should go to the forest and walk to the city of Anna, I should stop calling the city of Anna, it has a name Rose city, I always forgot that I don't go out of the orphanage very often, anyway, the forest with the monsters are between the capital and Rose city so I guess 5h walking should be enough to go from the forest to Rose city.
First I go to the blacksmith, I found Susan in the entrance of the academy, she works as a secretary here and is friendly, we have a small conversation and I ask if she knows a good blacksmith here in the city for me to buy a sword to be one of my models of a paint, she says there in the city all the goods blacksmiths work in the center in a Street called black iron, okay the rest I discover there, first lets go to this black iron street.
Susan taught me the way to the market but I forgot in the middle so I ask two random merchants where is the black iron street, the 2 of them were nice guys and quest me why a kid is searching for a place like that, I said that is none of your business and I ask a guard this time, maybe because he recognized my uniform he treat me well and quickly says where the goddam street is.
After 3 minutes walking, I see a street with 7 blacksmiths who looked exactly the same the unique difference is the name and the color of the store, all of them have a square format and have swords and shield out of the store on some type of support, a lot of mans with big muscles are there, I don't know what is better so I just enter in the first store in the street, the color of the walls are black and is called dwarf iron store.
After passing the door I see a lot of swords hanging in the wall, and a dwarf sleeping in the corner, I start to look at some swords to see if he have something decent, and his swords are good to a medieval era, I guess he is a famous forger here, these swords can't compare to the ones we have in the empire, but for I think I can't found something better yet, maybe if I stole some high knight, anyway after looking for a while I found a sword who is interesting, it is a long sword, is a well made one the metal is shining like it was made of silver and have a format of a cross, the sapace where you grab have a brown letter arounf, and all the structure looks firm, the blade has 2 meters, this is my type of sword, I use something like this back in my days, the impact of these monsters against a normal sword is ridiculous, and I have more range too, I have a good force and agility back then, okay I should use that let's see the price.
I approach the dwarf sleeping and he wakes up, looks at me and says.
"What are you doing here kid, this isn't a place to kids play, go out "
What a surprise I expected some curses and he being angrier, maybe all dwarfs aren't really the same, even if he looks like a typical one, which his 1,30m tall, a huge black beard and this face of someone who is angry with the world.
" I am a student of the art academy here sir, I want to buy one of yours swords here to be a model for one of my paintings "

" I will buy that too sir if you can wrap the sword in some type of cloth to me, and have something to help me carry this "

Everything is alright, we finish the negotiation, he gives me the sword wrapped in a cloth, the one thing left is how I gonna make it look like a servant pick that for me because I don't have one, the dwarf leaves the sword outside of the store in my side, aaah fuck it, I just pick up the sword and walk to the school, I get a lot of attention, after all a kid carrying a something with 2meters wrapped in cloth have a lot of attention, I look back and the dwarf didn't see that he is sleeping, after more 15 minutes I get in my bedroom inside the academy, Susan quest me what I am carrying and I say is just a big stick of wood I gonna use as a model to my draws, she thinks this is cute somehow.
After putting the sword in my room, I retire the cloth and see again this beauty, the silver color is shining so much, let's test this, normally I use a shield too, because of that these long swords for me are one-handed, but I am too weak for that now so I just gonna use the sword with my two hands, I swing the sword in the air, this should do a lot of damage, orcs should be an easy target to kill with this thing, the unique bad thing is the movement with this sword, I am too small to make a lot of movements so basically I can just make a little jump, but if I grow up this problem should be solved.
I should give a name to my new sword I probably gonna use that a lot, maybe silver wolf is a good name for his shiny silver, yes is a good name, okay I can't wait to use that against some monsters in the forest tomorrow.
