Chapter 4: If anything happens, just redirect to Mom and Dad
Actually, rather than worrying about his sister flirting with her friends or random strangers, he was more worried about the children and baby creatures that might be attracted to her. His sister's affinity with children is off the chart! The previous time she was left alone at the ice cream store, she was being swarmed with children stroking her ears and furs. Sometimes, even baby animals are attracted to her. It was rather funny to see her being squashed by a group of baby animals and surrounded by children playing with her tails and her pleading with them in tears to let her go. The thing is, most of them were too young to understand what she was saying. Furthermore, she was wearing a smile while crying so the children could not tell if she was happy or sad. It was truly a confusing sight.
Mitch hoped he would not have to rescue her. It would be embarrassing to be associated with her with that mob of angry parents.
The more Mitch thinks about it, the more uncomfortable he felt. You know, the kind of feeling that something will happen the more you try to not to think about it but the thought just gets stuck in the head for some reason. It was a very annoying feeling that is rather close to that of a sixth sense. A drop of cold sweat streaked down his forehead...,"Okay, if anything happens, I will just pretend I am busy and redirect the signal to Mom and Dad.." He did not want to make a baby mystical creature an orphan if things go out of hand... a cold shudder overcame him at this sudden thought.
Speaking of the devil, his X Phone vibrated. (The world had since modernised by leaps and bounce since the arrival of alien technology.) Mitch felt like crying at this point 😂. His ebony hands reached into the pocket of his burgundy red retro velvet jacket. His green eyes stared at his phone and his attention lingered at the name: Lolipop for a few minutes. Brushing his blackish brown hair with his hand in agony, his thick eyebrows give a quick twitch before he decisively pressed ignore. "Nope, not today!" And he breathed a sigh of relief.
