Chapter 2: Activation
Wandering through the dark streets of the city Bu Ye felt alone in this dark nest, Imperial soldiers walked through the streets always making him feel like an ant. The soldiers were always silent, disciplined and they always seemed like they wouldn't hesitate to cut you down even if you were from a noble clan. Two guards stood silent in front me we stared at each other for a moment.
" You may go, Citizen " one of the guards said in his imperial blue armor, his voice soft and refined but it had a hint of anger and blood lust, indeed his voice alone made Bu Ye tremble .
Bu Ye quickly walked away trying to be inconspicuous and when he was out of the two guards sights he ran , he made several turns and twists before he found an alley which had a sign . The Royal Crow the sign declared with its bold text, the sign had a picture above the words showing a marvelous spirt bird.
Bu Ye smiled, yes this was the tavern he loved since he first came and yes the place with the best foreign drink and food in the entire city. He walked into the tavern, smelling the magnificent scents of a variety of food, and saw a good crowd of men and women enjoying the specialties of the tavern but then Bu Ye saw him, his smile froze immediately.
"Nephew what are you doing here?" his uncle asked in a bewildered voice. Bu Ye scowled as he stared at his uncle Xian, "I thought you spent all of your allowance, how are you paying for these drinks? ".
"Ahem let's not talk about that now but here's a better question why are you here ", his uncle nervously asked.
Bu Ye softly sighed and spoke "Wu Shan has left to join the imperial guards, so I guess am here to forget my worries ".
"Maybe I could "his uncle tried to say
"Maybe I could what!?" Bu Ye snapped "What do you know uncle Xian that could even help me, you are still stuck at the first realm of cultivation"
"Even though am weaker doesn't mean am useless "His uncle tried to retort.
"You know what you are useless you only ever use the schools money for your drinks and gambling! " Bu ye shouted "So I think I don't need your help! ".
Uncle Xian looked downwards looking at his drink after Bu ye finished shouting for a moment Bu ye looked his uncle and then he left without saying another word leaving behind the tavern. Bu ye walked once more through the streets and his mind racing, he felt bad for his uncle, he really didn't deserve that rant against him and it wasn't his fault for the schools disaster, maybe he could make it up for him he thought.
A dark shadow suddenly appeared it quickly stabbed forward a dark blade towards Bu ye and before he could even react it already pierced through his entire body, pain was all Bu ye could feel. The pain was almost unbearable Bu ye could only hold on through sheer willpower and just when he was going to give to deaths hand he heard a voice a mechanical voice , it was voice he heard when he was born and till he was teen and it was voice he hoped to forget .

With no choice Bu Ye chose yes and swiftly memories of his previous life merged so many things that he could never imagine filled his mind, there were buildings so high and machines that could fly but with this even more pain came which overwhelmed his mind as all became black but before he did he could hear one last message
