Oh Gosh!
Apparently, one of the most popular, if not the popular-est girl in the whole school, just asked me to be her friend. I was literally left silent. I could not believe how well something was going during my "not going so well" day.
Of course, I thought this was somehow cliché and had to have a reason behind it but I was just so desperate to have everything quieten down that I just said sure.
She smiled with a some sort of odd smile but I ignored it and carried on my day. She talked to me for a while about stuff I just couldn't relate too eg having a manicure every Saturday and a treatment at the hairdressers every Sunday. It all just overwhelmed me.
She seemed to be urging me to go with her;I just couldn't afford it! Does she think I'm rich? I mean, sure I understand she would think so since I moved here from England but I didn't know what to think. If I should go with her and remain on good terms or just leave her.
I decided to stay with her because I had a sick feeling that something would happen if I left her. I don't know to be honest. It's like a gut feeling. You know?
