As the clock struck 7 in the evening, Xuan Lingwen put down the documents in her hand and kneaded the bridge of her nose. The sun had already set and the lights within the room had automatically turned on when the sunlight was dimming. The large, floor-length windows also had automatic curtains that closed when the lights turned on so the two people in the room never needed to stop working.
Xuan Lingwen let out a sigh as she got up.
"Do you need a break?" Kurama asked worriedly. She had come immediately after her classes and worked for hours straight.
"I promised mother that we would have dinner together tonight to celebrate our moving. You couldn't possibly have forgotten right? You were the one to recommend me the restaurant that I made a reservation at." Xuan Lingwen responded as she walked up to the door.
Kurama called for his chauffeur and walked her out of the office building.
