Chapter 179: Delivery (3)

After they finished cleaning up, the couple piled the curtains on the table. After thinking about it some more, they brought the pile of cloth outside themselves and handed them to a nearby flustered servant, instructing her to send it to the laundry room with Shen Tianyu giving the somewhat frightened girl a kind smile. She even offered to give her a small reward for her trouble which the girl vehemently refused, hurrying away with the bundle of cloth. As the two walked to the nearby main courtyard, they chatted about some small matters to ease the tension between them of the day. They were finally able to freely laugh at each other by the time dinner had ended. They ordered some of their personal servants to bring some tea to their room in one shichen(1) as they headed out to take a walk until the night fully settled in. Before the shichen was over, though, they started back to Shen Tianyu's residing courtyard.
