Synopsis
Joe was falsely imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. When released from prison, he realizes that his record is preventing him from re-establishing his life. He realizes that the only way for him to re-establish his life is to live unethically. However, superheroes appear and proclaim that they will put all unethical people behind bars.
How will Joe deal with this?

A book with the main character being an intelligent, yet, ugly guy who is branded because of the accusations of someone who is on the other side of the social spectrum. It is an interesting concept, and I'd like to see where the author takes it. Keep writing!
This is an interesting novel with a lot of dept to it. It is more than it seems and seems to parody societies flaws and paint a warning of the good and bad within human nature. I enjoyed it, although the reason is because I can sorta relate to the characters. It is like sushi, this book and writing style is an acquired taste.
Such a great novel. It was interesting from start to finish. I couldnt stop reading because if how invested in was in the story. Though the novel was short, it developed the characters well with only a few improvements which could have been made. One of those improvements could have been to give more info about the world as the story only focused on the main characters and was was character driven. It left out other things which could have been expanded upon in favour of following the main and displaying his thoughts nobody elses. Another improvement could have been to add more personalily to certain side-characters, but that wasn't really that bad because most only stayed in the story for a while. This was a great read and I would recommend it to others.
It was a wonderful novel. What can I say more? I loved every bit of it, and this novel made me see the world in a fashion I had never seen before. It is these types of masterpieces that revolutionise the world. Thank you, RatTurtle, for writing it and posting it here :)
The kind of novel that makes you think. Yes, some of the thinking might be about the writer's sanity (or yours) but that's what good novels do - they question life choices, morals, political or theological standpoints. I am a sucker for supervillain stories, I admit. This is a short one, but a good one. Do read it.
This is so good. Good characterization, good writing, and great premise. The only thing I found to be lacking is the plot that felt rushed at the end there. Many unanswered question. Still Great tho. One of the best novels I read here.

I enjoyed this novel. I felt that it was a bit short. The last chapter rushed. However, I think it was well written compared to a lot of other books on this website that have higher ranking. Like 'Sex genius' for example. I don't know why that book is so popular ...
I really enjoyed this read. Honestly, your writing style is very good and this story was completely unique. It shows how the mc turn into the good guy after going through all this sh*t, and that's usually how it goes in life in general. To be honest, the only problem I found with it was that the ending seemed a little rushed. Overall what happened was they escaped America and the problems they had before, and killed superheroes. It feels like there should be more closure to it. I know it's good to keep a few things open-ended but I feel there are too many questions being asked. Anyway, thanks for the good read author! :)

Totally takes a different path from most books I've read before. The main character is ugly, at the bottom of the social ladder, and he stays there. Rather than being the good guy, he does the wrong things, but for reasons that make sense. He is alright, but everyone around him is worse, yet, because of appearances, everyone assumes he is the worst. It seems earily like reality. The reality we refuse to admit to, but the reality that TV shows, and young women push forward secretly. It basically exaggerates societies dirty laundry in an imaginary world.

The ending was certainly unexpected, but I really loved the story especially the hypocrisy and how realistic mc act when he got into difficult situations. I only give 3 stars to world background because author didn’t explain much to it but overall it was a very good short light novel.
Really good story, short but not rushed, it's actually one of the best novel i discovered. I will start to read your other novels, hoping to find something this good <3
Estuvo muy buena, exceptuando por el final claro está. Si no fuera por eso, está novela sería una muy buena novela.ñ, aún así la recomiendo, después de todo no es larga y tiene sus buenos puntos.
This was an absolutely amazing experience. I mean wow. The level of world building, the characters and their motivations. The causes and effects that lead to such a setting is magnificent. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every piece of it.

Estuvo perfecto hasta que leí el último capítulo, lo sentí como si ubiese sido un final forzado. Pensé que iba a ser una novela con cientos de capitulos, cuando termine de leer el capítulo 9 pensé que buena historia hasta ahora, seguro el mc crece y deja de ser tan ingenuo y se convierte en un verdadero súper villano, explican cómo se crea un heroe. Pero no, el capítulo 10 fue como un "ya no se me ocurre nada para seguir la historia vamos a terminarla con este capítulo"
Interesting read. Quick pace. Interesting characters. I enjoyed the novel very much. Reminds me of the devils advocate without the bad stuff ... or maybe I am remembering that movie wrong. I probably am. Thanks. Keep writing.

Evil characters that you get a liking for, since you realise that they are not all evil. Good characters who you learn to question. I liked how people weren't polarised in this book, except for the few nutty ones. Good read! Thanks!
I wrote this book after witnessing something very similar to many events in this book occur to an associate of mine. In real life, I am relatively quiet, observant, and to myself. Consequently, as I watched events unravel, without getting involved, I was surprised at how people would just go along with the popular crowd without saying anything or daring to go against the popular ones. Makes you sorta see how Hitler gained power, and why so many people join gangs or turn to crime. I'm not saying you should, I am just saying that if you do, I can see potential reasons why you would. It is a realistic fiction. Enjoy!
