Chapter 249: Shout of a Goddess
--- Vale's Encampment
Jay, Rodrick, and Cidney were currently gathered around a small bonfire. Before Jay proceeds any further and look for a village to release Ruby, he first decided to tell Rodrick and Cidney everything there is to know about Ashnakara. Spirit Power, the Four Goddesses, power levels, Worldly Laws, etc.
"I'm going to check on Jin while you guys think about the stuff I said." Jay said as he saw Rodrick and Cidney talking to each other about what he just told them. It even looked as if they were bonding with each other.
"Sure. We'll guard over your body." Rodrick said since he knew Jay will go to the mind room which will leave his physical body here without any kind of protection.

--- Mind Room
"20th button done."
Jin said happily as he wiped the sweat off his forehead. Ever since Jay told him what he needed to do here, he first decided to install a spyware program on the walls of the Mind Room using his tablet. The reason why he did this instead of building a CCTV camera was because he found out that the walls of the Mind Room can actually be turned into any form of touch-screen technology for some reason.
It took him three days since the Mind Room was actually not as small as it looks. With the spyware program installed on the walls of the Mind Room, Jin can now see everything that will happen on his tablet.
After doing that, he proceeded with his next task and looked at the hundreds of red buttons below a large map.
Going from the topmost row and the button on the far left, Jin pushed the buttons going from right to left and saw that on a single row, there were 20 buttons each.
For every button he pressed on the first row, his body started feeling strange. When he pressed the first button on the very right corner, he suddenly turned into a bodybuilder. His black suit and pants almost ripped apart due to the increased size of his muscles.
After pressing that button again, he turned back to normal. Then after pressing the 19 other buttons on the topmost row, he discovered that it all gave him buffs, may it be physical, mental, or even magical buffs. He even managed to create a fireball on his hands when he pushed the 20th button.
"I wonder if this will work when I am outside this room?" Jin wondered as he asked Hellson, the old man loitering in the mind room, for some paper, pen, and tape.
"Oh, okay..." Hellson said as he used the Creation Orb to create what Jin needed. He never managed to tell Jay about this, but as long as the one using the Creation Orb has a clear image and knows what a certain item is made up of, they can create anything from thin air using the Creation Orb.
When he handed over the stuff to Jin, Jay suddenly appeared in the Mind Room.
"How you doing so far Jin?" Jay asked as he walked past Hellson and looked at Jin who was taping up some paper on the wall beside the map.
"The spaces between the buttons are too small for me to put a label on, so I decided to just write it down on paper and place it on the wall over here. And I also finished up setting the spyware you were asking for. The problem is that, the spyware is only connected to my tablet." Jin said as he continued taping up the paper on the wall.
"You installed it on the walls?" Jay asked since he felt as if he was being watched no matter where he went.
"Yup."
Jay was surprised and impressed with Jin's skills. "It looks like Rodrick's bragging about Jin's skill being the best agent in IronSpark is not a joke."
Jay quickly touched the walls and wondered if he could connect the spyware program to his brain, so that even if he wasn't in the Mind Room, he could observe what was happening and check whenever Roasted Boar would appear. For some reason, it actually worked.
"So did you figure out what the buttons do?" Jay asked Jin since he saw that Jin was starting to draw some circles on the paper, which was obviously a representation of the buttons.
"Yup. The buttons on the topmost row gives you buffs. The buffs activates when you press the button and deactivates when you press it again. As for how long the buffs remain or if it works on the outside world, I'm not sure." Jin said as he continued his work.
"A godly tool indeed..." Jay thought to himself as he tried pressing the 10th button on the topmost row. When he did so, he suddenly felt as if he could do everything just by using his mind.
"Shit, all this knowledge pouring in my brain is too much..." Jay thought to himself since he was getting dizzy from learning stuff he did not know so he pushed the 10th button again.
"Jay, would you also like me to help you in any way?" Hellson suddenly approached Jay since he felt as if his existence was slowly being forgotten by everyone.
"Well, since he's asking for it, then I suppose I can ask him to do something..." Jay thought to himself and told Hellson to discover anything new regarding the three orbs.
"New things? As in new functions?" Hellson asked with a confused look.
"Yeah. New functions which I do not know of." Jay said and wondered why Hellson was getting confused.
"The Storage Orb can store anything and every living being or perishable item has their time stopped inside the orb.
The Creation Orb allows you to create any object you want as long as you know what the object is made up of. And I know that you already know about it allowing you to merge any spell or skill you want.
As for the Viewing Orb, it allows you to see anything you want. Events from the past, present, or future. Images that may help you contemplate upon the Worldly Laws. I am also experimenting on it if you can see things like happenings in a woman's bath..."
"Stop, stop! Don't fill me in with you're perverted tendencies." Jay said since he knew what Hellson was about to say. But after hearing all of this, he had a hypothesis and wondered if he could take out the orbs on the outside world. So he grabbed the Creation Orb and left the mind room.

--- Vale's Encampment
"It actually works?!!" Jay said in shock as he saw that he was still holding the Creation Orb in his hands.
"Jay, what is that green orb you're holding?" Rodrick immediately asked as he ate some kebabs that he was holding.
"The Creation Orb." Jay said and when he checked the Mind Room using the spyware system imprinted on his mind, he saw that the Creation Orb was gone from the mind room and he was really holding the real thing.
"Crap, I better return it immediately before someone notices." Jay thought to himself as he returned to the Mind Room and placed the Creation Orb back on the long table beside the two other orbs,.
"Hellson, can you think of something that can allow me to disguise the orbs when I take them out on the outside world. And while you're at it, why not also think of a way to turn the orbs into weapons?" Jay said since he was planning on using the Mind Room to its full extent this time around.
"Sure, leave it up to me." Hellson said happily and went to work. Just as Jay was about to leave the Mind Room, Roasted Boar appeared.
"Hey, where are you right now Jay?" Roasted Boar quickly asked and looked as if he just got into a fight or something. His azure robes had dirt all over and he had a couple of scratches on his body.
"In a camp at the borders of the Doomsday Region." Jay said honestly but he still could not figure out what Roasted Boar was thinking of ever since he apologized to him.
"You're heading to the Scarlet Witches' Hideout?" Roasted Boar asked and went to the Creation Orb and made made some food items.
"I wonder how much he knows about the Mind Room?" Jay thought to himself as he looked at Roasted Boar and nodded his head.
"Don't bother. Just keep heading west until you reach Redmist Valley. I think the chickens will detect your presence by then. And by the way, there is a war between the three factions happening at the valley, so you might want to hide your presence." Roasted Boar said as he grabbed the stuff he made and left the Mind Room.
Jay knew that Roasted Boar did not have a reason to lie to him so he needed to change his plans a bit. So he went inside the Storage Orb and told Ruby about the war Roasted Boar told him and his plan of going to Redmist Valley.
"And how do you plan in sneaking in the valley without getting caught in the war?" Ruby asked as she glared at Jay.
"A simple task. The only thing I need is teleportation." Jay said as he grinned and was obviously thinking of Rodrick's teleportation ability.
Before Ruby could even ask for specifics, Jay left the Storage Orb and exited the mind room.

--- Vale's Encampment
Around the small bonfire where Jay and his group where at, Vale was currently with them already when Jay left the mind room for some reason.
"How do you even meditate in this noisy environment?" Vale asked Jay as she saw him suddenly breaking out of his statue-like state.
"Jay, she suddenly approached us moments ago and I had to tell her that you were meditating to avoid her asking further questions about what you were doing." Rodrick said to Jay telepathically.
Jay gave Rodrick a thumbs up and wondered what the silver robed woman was doing here.
Vale quickly introduced herself to Jay and the group before telling them why she even approached them in the first place.
"I can guide you to the Sacred Mountain."
Jay was surprised when Vale said this since he couldn't find any information regarding the Sacred Mountain when he was still disguising himself as a female and stayed at Bevelona City. The only one he knew that knows about the Sacred Mountain wasn't even an Ashnakara woman, but the Chicken Lord.
"As much as I want to, I have unfinished business and I need to deliver some goods at Redmist Valley." Jay said and continued to pretend as a traveling merchant.
"Hah? Deliver goods?!!" Vale suddenly had the urge to punch Jay in the face. The fate of Ashnakara was going to lie on her and Jay and he was talking about delivering goods to a battlefield...
Seeing Vale's reaction, Jay thought that his acting was not enough so he threw in a couple of words.
"A merchant must never break a contract. May it be a battlefield or the slums, as long as someone pays me and signs a contract, I will deliver the goods I have." Jay said with a straight face. As for Rodrick and Cidney, they did not know why, but they suddenly had the urge to laugh when they saw Jay acting like this. But of course, they controlled themselves since they knew Jay was doing something important.
Vale sighed and told Jay that once he is done with that, she will be waiting for him here even if she receives new orders from her superiors.
"Alright then. But don't trouble yourself too much Lady Vale." Jay said as he stood up and gestured Rodrick and Cidney that they were going to start traveling again.
Then suddenly, out of nowhere, the warm air suddenly felt really hot and everyone felt as if they were
at a hot spring. Together with this drastic change was a loud voice that boomed throughout the Doomsday Region.
"Daughters of Ashnakara! Hear my voice and answer my plea! Kill these blasphemers at Cinder Hell Mountain and free me from the shackles I am bound in! I am the Goddess of Evil, HEAR MY CALL!!!"
"A Goddess' Summoning! Impossible!!!"
Vale was the first to react while everyone else was stupefied with what just happened. Together with her were hundreds of women scattered in the Doomsday Region who knew what the hell just happened and how grave the situation was.

Earlier back in time, at the same time Jay took out the Creation Orb...
--- Cinder Hell Mountain, Doomsday Region
A volcano located at the westernmost area of the Doomsday Region, Cinder Hell Mountain is considered to be the most dangerous land in Ashnakara. Compared to the danger zones on the rest of the three other regions, this gigantic volcano surrounded by a burning wasteland and monsters posed a threat to almost anyone who ventures here.
Circled around the base of the gigantic volcano was large dome-shaped stone bunkers that were dark green in color. Thousands of people wearing equipment that were dark green in color roamed around the area, killing monsters that came near their camp.
"How much longer is King Quirone going to make us wait? We already threw one of the goddesses inside the volcano." A man with dark green hair and robes asked his companions who were killing monsters with ease.
"Please relax Prince Rhandall. The goddess is still not dead and your father is still doing everything he can to kill her. Sadly thought, no matter how much he increases the volume or heat of the lava in the volcano, she still won't die." A man in a thick and spiky armor said as he looked at a child flying on top of the volcano stretching out his arms towards the volcano's mouth.
The child he was looking at was wearing the same robes the rest of them was wearing and had was wearing a helmet that looks like a dragon's head. This child is one of the kings of Antaros, King Quirone. Just like what the guy in the spiky armor said, he was in the process of killing a goddess, Ashnakara's Goddess of Evil. But sadly though, after 10 years, he was getting nowhere and only managed to trap the goddess inside the volcano.
Just as things were going the same as usual, King Quirone suddenly felt a strange power flowing in the air and pouring in the volcano. It was the same power he felt when he and the rest of the Antaros Kings destroyed the 'Orbs of Power' which the Goddesses used to maintain their power and hold the 99th rank of Ashnakara in the Great Millennia,
"HAHAHAHA!!! Finally, the savior has come!!!" A loud voice came from inside the volcano and after that, the notice across the entire Doomsday Region happened.
"Damn it! How?!!" King Quirone shouted furiously as he strengthened his binding force on the Goddess of Evil, stopping her from speaking up.
Just as he thought he was about to mess up and fail his mission here, the strange power flowing in the air disappeared.
King Quirone took advantage of this and used every last bit of his strength to bind the Goddess of Evil. His binding was too strong that the goddess trapped inside the volcano could not even move a muscle anymore, but she was still alive of course.
"Zhukong! Lead some of our troops and patrol the entire area of this burning wasteland!" King Quirone shouted and the green haired guy in the thick and spiky armor saluted him.
