"What an asshole." I kicked a can that was on the ground. "I mean, she really thinks she could just kick us out of our own dorm? Yeah right." Jamie sighed, "We just have to occupy ourselves for an hour. Then we can go storm the place."
"I JUST WANTED TO SLEEP!" I slouched over and shoved my hands in my pockets, "This sucks. I don't even know if there's anything we can do here."
"I mean, there is that arena. We can look at that."
"Sure. Anything to keep my mind off that little shit."
We walked to the arena, which looked to be around the size of a football stadium, if not bigger. It was at least 100 meters tall, with metallic red bricks paving the ground around it. I looked up, trying to see the top, "What do you think this is for?" A voice I didn't know answered, "It's used for usual sporting events, you know, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Gladiatorial Fights." I turned around, it was the girl from earlier. Getting a closer look at her, she had long, unkept black hair, and was wearing an eyepatch. She was wearing a black shirt with the sign for Scorpio on it, "The name's Scorpio, and you're?"
"I'm Bill, and you're the person I bumped into earlier, right?" Instantly, she turned bright red,
"Ohmygod, thatwasyou, I'msosorry, Iwasn'tlookingwhereIwasgoing, Iwastoobusylookingforthe-" She stopped to catch her breath. I decided now would be a good time to interject, "It's fine. I mean, you didn't even knock anything out of my hands. You're the ones who dropped everything, right Jam-" She wasn't behind me. I looked up. "NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN!" She was hovering at the top of the building, her wings continuously flapping to ensure she didn't crash. "Is she an-"
"Angel, yes. So many people ask that when she does this." I looked up again, "WHY?!"
"WHAT?!"
"WHY?!"
"WHY WHAT?!"
"GET DOWN HERE I CAN BARELY HEAR YOU!" Jamie slowly descended, "Because, I thought I saw something fly over there, so I wanted to see what it was."
"What would be insane enough to fly over that thing?" Scorpio stepped in-between me and Jamie, "Well, there was a demon that once flew over the stadium over a dare."
"Knowing this city, I'm not surprised." Jamie tucked her wings back into her shirt. Scorpio's eyes widened, "How'd you do that?!" Jamie looked confused for a second, then managed to get what Scorpio saw as so amazing, "I just take my wings, and put them in my shirt. It's pretty simple." Scorpio just looked at her, "I, don't get it. I mean, doesn't it hurt?"
"Only if she decides to stand against a brick wall."
"THAT WAS ONE TIME!" I sighed, "Well, we'd better start getting back to our dorm, our roommate might start doing some other rituals or whatever she was doing if we don't get there quickly." Scorpio scratched the back of her head, "Yeah, mine's like that too. Short little girl with purple hair."
"Wait. Waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait. Did she happen to have cat ears?" Scorpio nodded. "Great. Well, looks like we found our other roommate."
When we got back to our dorm, the little girl was sitting on her bed. "Good, you're back." I didn't know what Jamie and Scorpio were thinking, but I think we all wanted to each break at least one of her bones. "While all of you are here, I want to set some rules." I glared at her, "No."
"Excuse me?"
"No. This is our dorm. We have an entire total area of 200 square meters to share between the four of us." Her ears flattened, "Exactly why we need some rules."
"Actually," Scorpio chimed in, "I agree with Bill here. We can set rules as we go, but we all have different needs, as we're clearly each different species. One of us has a wingspan of," She looked at Jamie, "I wanna say, 5 feet and," She looked at Jamie again, "6 inches?" Jamie shrugged. The girl looked like she was about to blow, "Fine. We'll do it your way. But when everything explodes into chaos and Lucifer himself is destroying the school, don't blame me." She threw herself onto a bed that already was covered in miscellaneous Harry Potter merch. Jamie and I looked at each other. We both knew what the other was thinking, 'This is going to be one hell of a year.'
