Sigh... This is troublesome
A minute and it will be 8:00 PM

It's her—crying inside this opened tent.
She cried. I wonder why? Is it because she saws something soo disturbing yesterday?
But something is bugging me. She asks me who I am. does that mean he doesn't remember me? Nor what I did yesterday and the knight?
"I'm Hayato Ayumu. You can call me Ayumu and By the way I'm not a guardian okay so don't mistake me for a something" I tried to comfort her a little from my good side and answered her question
She kinda stops crying... a little.
"Here you can have this"
She peek at the small gap in the blanket she created and reached for the ramen slowly as she removes some of the blanket covered on herself
"T...han..k y..ou" she murmured
This kid doesn't completely trust me... just like me on that day.
"..Delicious" she quickly ate it after she took a sip.
How come a child is lost over this wide forest?
"Bhmm! Bhmm!" A child huh?
"here's a water" I gave her something like a carbonated drink. She's a child so she might want sugary stuff.
"Blehhhh!"
"What? you don't like it?" I ask
"No! Its just.....its my first time drinking this" she pouted
It's great that she stop crying. I think i could ask her some question.
"Hey, Cindy-chan. Can I ask you a question?"
"S-sure"
I know that some of my questions sound awkward but I need to confirm something.
"Where are you?" I ask
"I-I don't know"
"Who are you?" I ask
"....." so she won't speak huh.
"Do you remember what happened yesterday?" I ask
"Yes... a little" so she did remember something.
I sat in front of this tent
"Can you please tell me what did happen yesterday cindy-chan?" said i while holding my two hands together as my strategy for talking to a child
"To be honest I think I was running from something like the knights when they caught me but... they suddenly...died?" she answered wondering that something is missing from her memories. So she didn't remember me? Well it's great that she doesn't remember that gruesome thing I've done but what causes her to forget me? is it because it's fucked up and disturbing? I need to investigate this furthermore.
"So you don't remember meeting someone in the forest," i ask
"No aside from the knight"

"Another thing I want to ask," said i
"Wh-what is that?---"
"...Would you like me to help you in finding a guardian?" said I but still I don't know what is it.
"....." she didn't respond?
I stood up from the ground, turned back and remark
"Sigh.. I can't force you if you don't want to--"
"Please! will you protect me in exchange for nothing?" she begs down for me.
I turned back to her seeing her cry with happiness
"That wasn't part of the condition in my question... but sure," said i
"Huh? that's it?" she lifts her head; seeing her myself the tears flowing from her eyes.
"Yes but if you only agree in this one condition"
"Please! don't suggest a difficult condition--"
"You need to forget me," said I curtly
"Huh?"
"You need to forget me once we're done," said I to her.
"....Please! Let me accept it!"
"Then that's it. we're now a partner" said I then suddenly a blast of lightning covered her back
"Agggghhhhh!!!" She exclaimed as it continues electrifying her. I could see the lightning coming from her as I crouch toward her in the tent and tried to touch her shoulder
*Zzt..zztz.zz* It suddenly...stopped? As a result, she lost consciousness again.
I let her rest down inside this tent.

Ohhhh!! I totally have forgotten that I want to give this dress to her. ( Its a dress from my little sister i found in my room a long time ago when I packed my things. Good thing that my sister left it there )
"Now where should I rest?" said I outside the tent; looking a flat surface for me to place a mat; I can't just have myself share a tent with a girl in it.
"Sighhh!..." I laid down in the mat I placed and took a short nap

I opened my eyes slowly seeing myself inside my tent with Cindy, Did she bring me here?)
Didn't I just lie on a mat? Why am I here?
"Mmm?" I rolled back away from her
"Can I ask a question.. A...yu..mu-san?" she asks. Well, that part when she said my name was kinda...eroi
"Sigh...Yes"
"Where is my satchel?" She asks
"Here" I gave it to her.
looks like she's gonna use her grimoire...again
"Why do you know my name?"
So she asks the hardest question huh? I need her to trust me so i must answer it even so i need to lie.
"Umm i-its because you know... i-i--"
"Ayumu-san you look suspicious" she giggled
"Okay okay, I lose! I lose. I give up" I said to her when I stood up and tried to pull my hair soo aggressively..
"hhhh.hahahahaha!HAHAHAHA!" she bursted out laughing with a smile
Her smile... was perfect. Seeing her smile was enough for me.
Good thing that it made her laugh... when suddenly she stopped; preventing herself from laughing furthermore.
She looked down... crying.
looks like the requirements is completed. if she took another wrong step... she will become a person like me forever and I'm not gonna let that to happen.
seeing her myself gets abuse by that knight was enough for me to gain trust from her.
Now I have to a lot of shit to deal with and I will take responsibility for anything that will happen to me and to her.
...It's my choice.
