In the middle of a wide backyard, a ten-year-old boy was swinging a wooden sword. He was crying as he kept on swinging the wooden sword up and down. The ten-year-old boy had a familiar looking face that most people would know. This was because, except for his amber hair that he inherited from his mother, his overall look was the exact replica of his father who was a famous hero.
This is the final chapter of Adopted Soldier. The next chapter will be a special chapter titled Vallhalla.
To those of you that are reading this thank you for joining me in this year-long journey. To the many ups and downs in writing this novel, in the end, I'm happy to have walked this journey with everyone. Truly it was a pleasure to write this...
The stress and hate I have received while writing this novel were great but because of everyone's support, I was able to move on and continue writing. Granted I cut a lot of parts to shorten the story, it was still a fun ride.
I started to write this to relieve my everyday stress from work and personal problems. I also wanted to share a story that I hoped other people would like. It turned out quite successful as the people who enjoyed it were more than I expected.
This journey we all took with Alex and his buddies is finally coming to an end. This will be the first contracted novel in webnovel I have finished, and though I cannot say I loved every minute of it, I still think it was a very memorable experience.
Once again thank you for reading, and I hope you guys be there for A.S 2 that will be posted next year.
Alex and his buddies, I and everyone who is reading this all of us will forever be part of the Mercenary Club.
