Not long after, Leng Nuan came out of the kitchen with a plate of food in her hands.

She glanced at Lu Benlai and saw that he was still standing beside the sofa with Coco in his arms. She said again, "Coco, wash your hands. Come and eat."

Hearing this, Lu Benlai came back to his senses. When he looked in Leng Nuan's direction again, Leng Nuan entered the kitchen again.

He knew that although Leng Nuan had called for Coco, she had said it for him to hear.

He really did not expect her to let him into her house, to let him stay for dinner... and even to talk to him..

Lu Benlai suppressed the fluctuations in his heart and carried Coco into the bathroom.

When he finished washing Coco's hands and came out of the bathroom with Coco, Leng Nuan had already placed the dishes on the table.

Lu Benlai placed Coco in the chair she was sitting on before sitting down next to her.
