Sect Entrance Test
Next day Ed had been training his skill the whole time in the last 24 hours and today was the day of the test, he got ready and went to his father.
He went to his father and took out 490k gold from 500k gold he had.
He gave it to his dad and said that he could use this money in and he wants to.
He also said that he will send him more money when he makes money.
His dad was resisting to take the money, but he couldn't give it back now Sam gave the money he ran towards the inner area of the city where the entrance test was happening.
He went there and saw a huge gathering around a stage.
On the stage, there were three small towers standing on the stage.
When he looked at them a person appeared on the field.
Ed was not focusing on anything popping up and was caught by surprise when he appeared on the stage. Ed focused on the person and the moment he did, the person started to talk,
" Hello everybody, I'm the outer sect elder of Ria sect and welcome everybody to our sect entrance test".
" I will not take any more of your time and will explain the teat this time".
" On the stage, you can see these small towers behind me, for this test you will be tested by these towers".
" Whoever touches these towers will be transported to a different place".
" The place will be filled with monsters at your own level and you have to kill as much as monsters that you are facing".
". The test will finish in 10 minutes but that ten minutes inside the tower is like a month and in this month they to kill as much as monsters as you can".
" You will pass the test if you kill at least 3000 monsters, you will pass as an inner sect member if you kill 9000 monsters and you will become a core member if you kill 20000 monsters".
" For those who are about to die in the tower, you will be kicked out of the tower before you die".
" You guys can start now"
Everybody ran towards the small tower but before they could reach it Ed arrived in front of it and had already gone inside the tower.
When the sect elder saw was speed he said:" guess one spot for the inner sect member is taken already".
Ed was inside the tower, but he could not see even one monster anyway, he was confused as he expected to see lots of monster like how you come against a lot of monsters in dungeons.
He asked the system" why can I not see any monsters here".
[host must find the place that the monsters are at to fight them]
Ed knew if he had to do that he will be losing a lot of time so he quickly asked the system" is there a way that you can attract the monsters to me".
[yes, there is a pill called attraction pill that can do that]
" How much is it?"
"1000 store points"
Ed just lost the last amount of store points he had as he bought the pill.
He took the pill and the monster started to race towards him.
All of the monsters were at the same cultivation stage as himself, but they were too weak when they were compared to his Immortal physique ability.
Ed activated his immortal physique and started to kill the monster that was coming towards him.
When he killed the monsters, Ed learnt that for some reason he wasn't getting any exp from them.
Ed asked the system, 'why am I not getting any exp?' It said that the exp he was gaining was the life force of the monster and since the monster in here did not have any life force, so the system couldn't extract anything from them, but it said that he still could gain store point as store points were gifted from the system.
He was getting 3000 store points from each kill that he did.
10 minutes passed in the tower and almost all the candidates that were in the tower was kicked out as they couldn't handle the pressure of fighting more than 1 opponent at the same time.
When the elder saw what happened, he was disappointed as these people couldn't stay in their more than a millisecond in real time.
As he was about to realise his frustration with some drink he suddenly saw one of the towers turn green.
He was shocked at what happened as he didn't select to defeat 3000 monsters in 10 minutes.
The elder quickly asked to project the image of the person that had killed the 3000 monsters in 10 minutes.
A projection of ed appeared on the sky and everyone was looking in shock at Ed as he was killing the monsters as if he was stepping on ants.
While this was happening the elder said:" whats happening why are all of the monsters coming towards him".
He didn't bother about the monster being attracted to Ed, but he was worried about why was he able to kill the monster at the same level as himself as if they didn't even exist.
Even though that worried him, but I didn't amount to the joy of founding a genius for the sect.
He was thinking about how much he will gain by bringing a genius to the sect.
Meanwhile, inside the tower, Ed was continuing his killing spree.
His killing speed did not slow down and in 20 minutes he had killed 9000 monsters.
Outside everybody was shocked at the killing speed of this person.
The more Ed killed the happier the elder became as he would gain the more benefit.
The elders were thinking about the benefits he will gain, while the people that failed the test were thinking about on how to become friends with Ed.
