Mikhail hastily changed shadow sword form to a spear that extended to one of the big rats but this time it dodged to the left side and jumped at Mikhail. While the other big rat jumped to his left side.
Mikhail instantly changed shadow sword form into a spiked shield and the two big rats crashed hard onto the spiked shield and died instantly but the impact making Mikhail slammed backward to the wall.
"Sh*t... Is it... the end? Am I going... to die... here???" Mikhail consciousness is fading away.
Mikhail's head collides quite hard with the wall making it bleeding profusely, that is why he lost his consciousness right now.

A few hours later, Mikhail began to awake. Even though right now he is still a little groggy but his head does not feel hurt anymore. When Mikhail wanted to check his head injury, he began to aware that shadow sword form changed to a bandage and wrapped his head.
"Ehhh... What is this? Why shadow sword wrapped my head? My injury?" Mikhail feeling confused right now.

Mikhail dragged his exhausted body through street toward his house. The sky is already dark and some street lamp's light is flickering eerily. Even though the town looks abandoned but some house's electricity is still running and Mikhail's house is one of them. But when he is still walking in the middle of the street…

Mikhail saw a gigantic silhouette like a burly monkey walking at the far distance trampling anything on its path.
Yes… It is gigantic no other word could describe it because its body size was even bigger than a mountain itself. It is like a Titan in mythology or movie coming to this earth.
Mikhail stunned and staring it in horror with his dropped jaw. How could such a creature exist? What exactly has happened to this world right now? Countless question flashing through his head but he cannot find the answer right now.
Until just a moment ago he still thinks that the giant werewolf that's 10 times bigger than bear size is a top of food chain, but comparing it to this gigantic silhouette those giant werewolf is just an ant in its eyes.
Thankfully the giant silhouette is just passing by and not even take a glance at Mikhail's town or it would be reduced to dust by only those giant silhouette footstep.
"What is going on right now in this world? If this world is not another world then that's mean that origin beast monster is the one invading here??" Mikhail began to analyze the situation again.
"Forget about it… For now, I should get stronger first. At the very least until I could slay that giant werewolf to avenge the people of my hometown. Then later I will begin my adventure to the capital city." Mikhail eyes turned serious and firmly make his decision.
After Mikhail arrived at his house, he started to check the television, radio, and his handphone once more. But the situation is the same as before there is no signal. It is like some electromagnetic fog is blocking all the way of communication.
"Sigh… It looks like there is really no way to contact another person. The only way is to head toward the capital city and hopes there are still some people left that know the current situation." Mikhail sighed with disappointment. But then the idea struck him, why he didn't ask the grimoire? The grimoire is a mysterious item that surely not from this world so it should know one or two things about what happened.
