Surprise surged through me as my hand came in contact with Mister Rexy's nose, 'why is my arm still attached to my body?' I felt oddly soothed, as if I was wrapped in the softest blanket and drinking the tastiest cup of hot cocoa, the feeling traveled down my arm into my palm and then was gone. Suddenly I heard a high pitched voice that sounded like a little girl.
"Congratulations, you've acquired a level 5 juvenile Tyrannosaurus Rex, it currently goes by the name Terror would you like to change it's name?" I momentarily forgot that I was currently touching something that could snap me like a toothpick and glanced around looking for the source of the voice.
"Hello?" I squeaked after looking around and seeing nothing but the ginormous Rex in front of me.
"Congratulations, you've acquired a level 5 juvenile Tyrannosaurus Rex, it currently goes by the name Terror would you like to change it's name?" the little girl voice repeated.
"Uhm, change it to kitty?"
"Name change confirmed, your level 5 juvenile Tyrannosaurus Rex will now be called Kitty."
'What in the actual heck just happened?' I was momentarily shocked speechless when I looked back at the T-Rex and floating above it's head in red letters was 'Kitty" and under that was 'Level 5 juvenile'. 'I must be delusional, it's the only answer to what the heck i'm seeing.'
Kitty my new T-Rex was now looking at me with utter adoration in its previously emotionless eyes. Looking into Kitty's eyes gave me goose bumps so I quickly averted my gaze. Some how the Rex was scarier now then it was before. 'Now what the heck am I supposed to do, just what is happening ?'
"Uhh, hello? Little girl?" I tried calling out. I waited about 3 minutes before I got impatient and said it again. After attempting to get the little girl to speak to me and failing miserably multiple times I sighed and looked back at my new friend.
"Okay Kitty what's on the agenda? Do you even understand what I'm saying? Where the heck are we?" I sighed knowing my efforts where futile and that I was talking to nothing. A weird whooshing noise made me glace back up at Kitty and I noticed the damn T-Rex was wagging it's tail. Astonished I rebuked it, "What are you a dog? Stop making so much noise I'm trying to think." Kitty's tail instantly stopped and it seemed to pout, it looked at me as if I was a bully. I sighed and made my way off the tree.
"What are you pouting for you stupid Rex?" I complained as I stabbed my feet on various plants on the ground. I knew that by tomorrow that if I had any skin attached to the bottom of my feet I would be impressed. When I reached Kitty I lifted my arm up to pat it's leg, when my hand brushed against its rough scaly but warm skin that calm soothing feeling came back. I closed my eyes and was slightly off put when the little girl voice didn't come back. I did notice something strange though, every-time I closed just my left eye a menu like thing would appear in my mind.
'What the heck is going on ?' I concentrated harder on the menu and it slowly came into focus.

"You have 5 power points, in which category would you like to place them?" The little girl voice said causing me to jump. My eyes flew open and I glanced around, yet again no one was there.
'Am I in a freaking game? Why do I have attributes? Oh wait! I must be dreaming that's got to be it!" I hurriedly pinched my cheek as hard as I could and my pitiful yelp was heard shortly after. Rubbing my sore cheek I glared at Kitty who was staring at me with a weird look.
"What are you looking at!" I harrumphed and turned around. Closing my left eye I quickly scanned through the attributes. Being the avid gamer when I was younger I knew what most of these were.
"Place 2 points in Agility, 1 in Strength, 1 in Constitution ,and 1 in Intelligence."
"Placing 2 points in Agility,1 in Strength, Constitution and Intelligence, Confirm?"
"Uhhhh," I said hesitating for a brief second, " Confirm." My attribute chart quickly adjusted to the new information.

"Well that's interesting and everything but it still doesn't answer any of my questions, if anything it leaves me with more of the damn things." I grumbled. A snort behind me drew my attention back to Kitty and it looked almost as if the Rex was laughing at me. I widened my eyes in shock, picked up a rock and threw it at the stupid Rex. "Teach you to laugh at me!" More snorts followed my yell, rolling my eyes I flipped the bird at the Rex and started to think about why the heck I had attributes. A loud gurgle from my stomach brought my thoughts back on track, 'Back to the important thing, finding food and shelter, definitely food."
After walking a few feet I realized how daunting my task was going to be. Old trees swayed back and forth and chilly winds cut at my arms and face, almost as if on cue my stomach let out a loud burst of protest and exhaustion tugged at my limbs. It didn't help I had a huge ass Tyrannosaurus Rex behind me that had the mentality of a toddler and made as much noise as possible. I found a boulder that didn't look to bad and promptly sat my butt on it. Grimacing I lifted one of my legs to look at the bottom of my foot, blood encrusted every tiny bit of surface area. I gagged as I pulled a rock out of the encrusted blood. I definitely wasn't going to have feet by tomorrow, I was just going to have stubs.
I glanced at Kitty and narrowed my eyes, "I'm going to have stubs at this point! Let me ride you!" Kitty's eyes widened as if astounded that I would even speak of such a thing.
"That's right, get over here and let me ride you! You don't want an owner with no feet do you?" Skepticism flashed through Kitty's eyes as it looked me up and down. I pointed my finger in-front of me and glared daggers at it. The Rex heaved a huge sigh as almost as if someone had exorcised a demon out of it. "Stop complaining and come here!" A few moments later Kitty stood besides me with an expression that looked like if it could roll it's eyes it would. It slowly lowered it head towards the ground as if every inch hurt it's pride a bit more than the last.
Thumping Kitty's leg with my hand I glared at it. "I'm gonna leave you behind!" Kitty's eyes widened in horror and it quickly lowered it's head to where I could attempt to clamber on its back. "That's what I thought you stubborn ass hat." After about 30 minutes of struggling and many failed attempts I finally sat mounted on top of Kitty's back, a powerful feeling swept through me and a huge grin broke across my face. I was about to gloat over it to Kitty when I felt it's stomach make a weird squelching noise followed by a puff of air. The most horrid stench I've ever smelt in my life assaulted my nose and I almost toppled off the Rex.
"Oh my god! What is wrong with you!" I yelled at Kitty. Kitty glanced back at me with an expression that almost said ' Probably wish you weren't up there now huh?' I desperately waved my hand in-front of my face as tears pricked at my eyes. " You are the nastiest!" I screamed as vomit surged up my throat. I squeezed my eyes and I'm pretty sure my life flashed before my eyes.
"This is it, this is where I die," I said mournfully, Kitty harrumphed and took a step forward catching me unprepared. I slid off the side of it's neck and quickly hung on like a monkey. Ideas of making a saddle abruptly appeared in my mind as I struggled back on Kitty. For now I was going to have to grip the bigger scales on its spine and hope I didn't fall. " Okay Kitty! Lead the way!" I yelled as we walked off into the sunset.
Hope you enjoyed! Please let me know if I made any errors and what you thought about it.
Kitty might have more attitude than my sassy old lady of a cat!
