"Captain! Look! The plant is dead! It must be the king, he perished together with the plant! He saved us!"
The captain frowns his long, hanging white eyebrows and hops forward to the powdery mess in the middle of the room. He uses his paws to slowly brush the charcoal powder off the lifeless body which laid there peacefully. He sniffed as he slowly princess-carry Lucas out of the room, making sure it's comfortable and won't risk hitting the body against the sides of the walls. The rest of the rabbits also did the same with other casualties, but they are not like the captain who has steeled himself after many losses through the years of fighting, they couldn't hold back their tears when they carry their family members and friends out of the room. The room is now like a desert, filled with black colored sand, so dark and gloomy.
Gardenior, a place deep in the nest which was decorated with gardenia plants. The garden is lit up with beautiful soft yellow light crystals, emphasizing the beautiful white petals of the flowers. Despite being underground, it looks just like any garden you could find on the surface, no... it's more beautiful than any gardens you would have ever seen. A crowned rabbit statue stood there majestically in the middle of the sea of flowers, looking down to the thousands of rabbits that gathered there.
"Rabbits! This man may not have ascended the throne yet, he does not have a horn like us, but he risked his life time and time again to save us! No one else is a better king than him! So young and handsome yet... so selfless, trading his life to save others..." the captain can't hold back his tears anymore, he had never seen someone so generous when facing death, able to sacrifice his life for strangers that wanted him dead. "PAY RESPECT TO THE KING!"
All soldiers started crying again and bow to the body that lied peacefully in a crystal coffin which was placed on the top of the ten foot tall stone statue of the previous king. As for the rest of the rabbits, they did the same and mourned for Lucas's death. They did not witness the fight, but they know, to be able to gain the respect of the mighty elite squad, he must be an honorable guy. Heck, those proud warriors didn't even show that much respect to the previous king! Just as everyone is bowing down, an angry voice echoed across the whole nest.
"Why the heck is I trapped here! Let me out! I SAVED YOUR FREAKING LIFE GODAMMIT!"
Hehe, anyone wonder where Little Snow went? I don't know either
