year 2024 a parallel world where civilisation is several times more advanced then ours. Mechs and exo suits are the norm in militaries. Nukes? No we use G-bombs aka graviton bombs which are mini gravity distrtion bombs.
However behind the scenes mystic masters called yin yang masters rule the darkness and call upon spirits or dead hero or villans as their familiar. Magic, curses, blessings, alchemy can all be considered available to them.
Tech tiers
1-4)stone bronze iron steam age
5)colonolisation age. Air, land and sea vehicles development.
6)modern era. Capable of sending unmaned stations to space. (current day USA and world in general)
7)mecha age. use of mechs and some form of light technology. Energy pollution from fossil fuels should also be solved and alternate eco friendly highly sustainable energy sources should be potentially found in the later stages of this tier.
8)intersteller age capable of cross galactical travel at speeds ranging from mach 1 - light speed travel. Terra forming engines should also be potentially found in this tier.
9)gravitational age. capable of gravitational control and folding space time, generally dimensional control such as teleportation or creating miniature dimensions. (Unlimited blade works can be considered at this tier)
10) Unknown requirements but research has shown that beings at this tier can potentially evolve from their natural constraints and reach higher dimensions, or disrupt the flow of time.
