Chapter 3: The Deer and Tiger
One day, there was famine on an island whose inhabitants were mostly inhabited by Tigers. They are very hungry, because the more days there are no animals they can prey on. Finally, Raja Harimau sent the Commander and his Soldiers to go to the small island on the other side and return with lots of food.
Travel to a small island far enough away. Finally, they arrived at their destination. There they were very amazed by seeing the beauty of the little home. However, when they arrived there. They only see a small mouse deer by the beach. Kancil immediately ran. However, he was late. He was surrounded by Tigers.
"Hey Kancil! Where is your king? We came to ask for food. If you refuse, we will attack this small island. And behold, we brought pieces of our king's mustache. '' Said the Tiger soldier and showed his king's mustache.
'' This mustache is huge. Surely the king of Tiger is very big and strong. I will bring the King Tiger's mustache and show it to our king. '' Said Kancil.
Actually, Kancil is very confused because on the small island there is no king. At that time, Kancil saw his best friend a very large hedgehog. He immediately found an idea.
'' Hey, my best friend. Come here, I really need your help! '' Said Kancil.
'' Hah? My help? Why Cil? '' Asked the Porcupine.
"For the safety of all animals on this island." Kancil replied.
Finally, the Porcupine also pulled out its biggest thorn, stoning and length. After getting the thorn. Kancil immediately ran carrying a Porcupine thorn and handed it to the Tigers. Deer also looked for where the Tigers were. Finally, Kancil managed to find them by the beach. They fall asleep deeply. Kancil woke up the Tiger commander.
"Sir, our king is ready to fight. As proof. Our king also sent his mustache. "Kancil said firmly. He immediately handed the Hedgehog mustache to the Tigers.
"This is your king's mustache?" Asked the commander of Tiger.
"Yes, that is our king's smallest mustache. Our king accepted the challenge from your king. '' Said Kancil.
The Tigers were very surprised to see the mustache of the big and sharp little island king.
"The mustache of the Kancil king is very large. Very big from our king's mustache. We will definitely find it difficult to fight it. '' Whispered the commander of Tiger to his soldiers.
"Then how?" Asked one Tiger.
"We should immediately leave this island." Replied the Tiger commander.
Finally, the Tigers left the small island. they went on to other islands to find food.
Since that time, no tiger has dared to come to the small island. All of that thanks to the dexterity of mouse deer and ingenuity.
